Not even sure that is an iPhone. That whole Apple graphic seems “off” and the word “iPhone” doesn’t even appear on the back of iPhones anymore. Maybe a prototype device?

Photo is from 2018/2019 of iPhone XS. Do you seriously think Apple would photograph a prototype and share publicly?

I think Apple didn't got the memo to disinvest from CCP before it's too late.

Now they don't even compete for the top spot, being 5th (data from couple days ago) and dropping vs CCP state controlled phones. I don't get it what kind of market they expect to keep if they lost so much ground in West China.

first they loading new factories to china, and then they wonder why china is so powerful so could even jeopardise US. strange people
Yeah… good luck trying to mass build the same scale of infrastructure within the next TWO president terms without anyone from any party jeopardising it in any way.

There is a reason why such massive infrastructure build up so far only achieved in China under a short timeframe.

I thought Apple was moving away from china.. arghhh I guess not
It’s harder to move out of China than most people think: where are all the manufacturing demand go? How about factories? Workers? How about their pay? Transportation system? China has all, plus still cheap-ish labor. What does America have, right now?

Not surprised to see the facility in China. Apple still relies heavily on the production facilities in China

The thing I want most is for my iPhone to be "officially" waterproof like the Watch, so I can wash it under the faucet with soap every day. I know if I accidentally drop it in shallow water it will likely be fine even now, but that's not what I'm talking about. I want it to be waterproof enough that Apple will say I can make a habit of washing it.
If you are going to wash your iPhone everyday, you will need to use conditioner to keep the phones luster.
