I went through a black Apple leather case and now I just bought the navy blue and returned the black because I like the look of it better. Does anyone experience scuffing with these Apple cases? I'm loving the leather feel of it by the way.

Tried silicone and...never again!!

Apple tells you that it will scuff and show wear right on it website.

I'm loving my midnight blue leather case on my silver iPhone 6 Plus, it's much better than any silicon cases I've ever tried with previous devices. In my experience, the silicon cases gets much more stained and dirty over time than leather, and they're hard to clean as well. I love that even if some little scratch or stain appear on my leather case it easily disappears just cleaning it with a moist towel. The leather case will eventually grow a patina but it will still look better than a dirty and ugly silicon case.

Also, the leather case is really easier to put on and off the phone than most cases and that's a nice added bonus.

Launch day red leather. No scuffs or damage. Just a nice patina starting to show. Love this case!

Apple Leather case owners....scuffs?

Black apple leather case on my SG 6. Liking the blacked out look. So far so good. I've only had it for about two weeks now though. It's developing this nice, cool, soft feel to it. The buttons are really clickable. I can see why so many folks love this case. Super expensive but super sweet. I also have other spare cases but looks like this one is definitely gonna stay on.

The blue one also looks great. I had that one first but swapped it for a black one out of personal preference. The darker colors wear better in my opinion.

Last year I went with green. Aside from the fact that it looked awful with some age due to the original color popping so much, I diskiked how it scuffed.

Went with brown this time around. More classic, imo, and the scuffs blend in after a few days. I actually dropped it (slipped out of my coat bending over) about a foot or two and it scuffed up pretty well. After a week the scuffs darkened up and I can hardly notice them.

I am very pleased with my choice this time around. My only gripe is that the bottom of the ohone is uncovered. That has not been a problem this far and hope it doesn't become one. Truth be told it's the first thing I checked when the phone took a little spill.

I will add that for the first two months the outside of the case darkened up mich heavier than the back. I assume this is due to how the phone is held and natural leather being in contact with the oils on my skin. It is now uniform but' for a short while' I was thinking it might not be the case for me. Glad I stuck with it.

Guys, a friend of mine told me about a new "carbon" case, which doesn't scratch. Does anybody know where I can find it? :D Otherwise, I'm not sure if my iphone6plus will last for long :D

I can't remember. The only thing I know is that it's made from carbon fiber

Apple used to sell Sector 5\Element Carbon Fiber cases in Black and Red in their US Stores. Loved the look but I never liked that they left the top\bottom\buttons exposed.

This might be it. I'm not pretty sure. I need to ask me friend and show it to him. However, this case looks sick.

I ordered my leather case at an Apple retailer nearby and I'm hoping they call me today saying it came in. Ugh can't wait to get it and try it out..

finally caved and bought this case.

i have gone caseless on my iphone since the 3GS.
i dropped my 6 and scuffed it up pretty badly (slipped out my pocket! it's THAT slippery!) but lucky that everything is still functional
bought this case to cover up the scuff and feels good as new!

love this case.

black leather on space grey 6.

I'd strongly advise against buying one, it bubbles easily from coming into contact with drops of water, can't take a drop and peels too easily. save your dough :D

I'm back in the saddle with an olive brown Apple leather case. I hope it's unaffected by water drops. It looks excellent on a space gray 6 plus.

Do not let the water stay in contact with the leather for long. Wipe it off IMMEDIATELY.

I left mine soak a lot of water when placing my iphone on top of an invisible puddle on my desk and it left a permanent stain.

Water drops from light rain or humid hands were no issue at all. It seems it has a thin layer or treatment that blocks water from being instantly absorbed.

Thanks. The brown emboldened me to switch back to black. I put some leather conditioner on that puppy and will soon be sporting it. After I do my testing with a Candyshell Grip.

Just got an additional CS Grip in blue for my 6 plus. Love
Amazon price match.

The case is still the best I tried and the blue isn't as bad as I thought.

Yeah, wait until spring / summer and it will make more sense when color is in the air. Also, it works with jeans and khakis.

$40 is an insane price for me too.

Yes it is however it's the best case I can find when it comes to fit and finish, as well as it's ability to maintain the slim profile and not add crazy bulk, my 6+ is big as it is.

I hate having to spend $40 on this but I have to say it was worth it to me. I love this stupid pricy case. :p
