Possible price increase here ???

If all Apple has to offer for this update is some specs bump and a price increase... I bet many people are going to be very furious... though they will still put their money into Steve's pocket, and they will do it with a smile on their face

My instinct tells me this is going to be the lamest update ever... not worth it at all. In fact... I think the best of all this is that you'll be able to get the current line very cheap, either refurb or second hand... but the new one... just a specs bump...

I wonder why the most expensive model doesn't have a sequential ID like the other three models.

because it's a different size. Why are we discussing this in a two month old thread, hmm?

Because the "Waiting for" threads aren't threads. They're IRC chatrooms in forum thread form. And thus it's impossible to stay 'on topic' with it constantly changing. At least with this thread the topic cannot change, the new SKUs in the retailers.

ajayvarma87 will be interesting to see if those SKU's get UK price tags like the American databases seem to be getting theirs.. hope you're working tomorrow! :D

I third that motion..as well as a screenshot of the system. Cheeeeeers.

Turns out I'm not working today, just have to check 2mo. All the models have a provisional price of £2000. The price is always adjusted to the correct price on release day. That's what we done with call of duty MW2. We had stock in 4 days early but couldn't sell it because when we scanned it, it had a price of £9999. On the day of release, it dropped to RRP.

I think this can confirm that people saying 13" models aren't being upgraded are wrong, on the basis that SKU prices are only provisional, of course.

Aww man, it would've been good to find out today. Tomorrow will be too late IF they come out tomorrow too =/

Interesting stuff. All these leaks point to an imminent release of refreshed MBP's.

yes, but the last time the US got the new SKUs (for the MacBooks) the prices and model numbers were correct so the fact that the US pricing was correct last time seems to indicate that it will be correct this time and that the 13" will not he updated

here's hoping thats not true
