New Apple TV remote volume control?

Let me answer my own question
Got the Apple TV today
Out the box the Siri remote started controlling the tv volume , I'm surprised cause this is an old dlp tv
But I don't use the tv volume I use an old soundbar
I went into settings and learned the vizio soundbar controller
The Siri remote now controls my soundbar
No problems
So if you have an old tv and soundbar , you won't have any problems
