It's up to you, of course, but in my opinion Taupe is both prettier as well as more versatile. FWIW the Saddle Brown is actually my least worn Classic Buckle.

I like the new band better. What can I say, I'm a sucker for everything Apple puts out 🙂
- I wonder if you would post some more photos of the Berry Classic Buckle?
It's recently taken my fancy, but I'm unsure if it's too pink for my taste.
(Interestingly, in Danish its name is "Raspberry" rather than just "Berry".)

What kind of picture/angle do you have in mind? I'm not sure how I could add to the two pictures I already posted.
FWIW, "raspberry" seems pretty spot on to me. I certainly wouldn't describe the band as being "pink" but YMMV. In the end, only seeing the band for yourself IRL will give you a really accurate idea of how you feel about it.

Kinda, I said no a few times, but he waived the taxes on the phone and watch, taxes on the phone alone was $120.
- I don't really know what I had in mind. Just trying to get a better feel for it. But if you feel the pictures reflect its look accurately, then let's just leave it at that.
The trouble is that it is really hard to judge these bands from pictures on a screen.
I have both the saddle brown and the sapphire and to be honest you I really don't notice the buckle very much. You could try it for 14 days and return it if you don't like it.

But "notice" isn't a bad thing? If it's beautiful and well crafted like this one, it's good by me. I have the Saddle Brown from fall 2016, but might jump on the black when the opportunity is there

I picked up my Sapphire Classic Buckle this week, the color is beautiful! Not sure how I feel about the new buckle. I don't feel it gets in the way or anything, but it's not as sleek or subtle as the old buckle.
I could tell right away the strap felt different than the last generation, and holding it side-by-side with my Midnight Blue I can confirm these new straps are considerably thinner. The leather does have more of a nice texture though.
