Both sizes available all day at US Nike site. not sold out. tho page was down for a little while early on.

Hopefully Apple/Nike sells the band separately soon. I love my black/volt band.

They're already selling three Nike bands so I expect them to sell the new one as well in the future.
I didn't like the first one they introduced in black and yellow, but the white one looks cool and the new one is even better

Thanks for the info. I did not buy the 2nd gen, because it took months before they were in Stores in Netherlands and when they were available I could not try them as everyone was all over them. I lost complete interest. Now it feels like too old device and nothing innovative.

Well it added handy features like water proofing and GPS tracking. I have a Series 1 and feel like having those extra features would be enough to upgrade. But I've told myself I don't want a new Apple Watch unless they bring out a round version, because it always should have been round.

just keep re-releasing the same thing Apple... Remember list years devices here it is again in a new color, and more memory (ipad, apple watch, iphone)

I love it, it comes in 3 sizes, 41, 47 and 51 mm. The 51 has maps on it (that's the one I have). It's a great fitness wearable when it's not a great running/cycling, multi sport activity tracker.

As far as feel, it is bigger but it's a circle, it kind of fits 'more normal' as compared to an Apple Watch if that makes sense. There is no touch screen, which for me is really good, I used to fumble with sweaty fingers on the AW back when I used it.

The stock band is total crap though, not as comfortable as Apple's sport bands.

It's much faster at updating pace than an Apple Watch, and can pair with ANT+ devices for different profiles. I've got some Garmin sensors to go along with it but like that I can just take it and leave the phone at home and get readings from a foot pod, tempe, HRM w/running dynamics, or cycling and hook it up to my speed/cadence sensor.

You can get all of your phone's notifications on it but you can't reply like an Apple Watch. (Personally I've turned mine off, I think I suffered from notification overload at some point).

My initial motivation for purchase was that I didn't want to take my phone with me anymore and wanted something that could connect to sensors on my bike. The real time running form feedback w/the HRM-Tri is a nice bonus.

Thank you. I have to admit, while I like my Apple Watch, I am tempted by the Fenix

you didn't get a black and VOLT one from Amazon.... you got either a Black and Yellow one or black and GREEN one. none of the crappy knock offs have matched the Volt colour correctly.

I disagree, this is a 'light bone' color band, and the Ceramic watch is white. I see the 42 is sold out at US Nike site..

And I necessarily don't need to have the exact same colors matching for a band and the watch casing. But for those who don't mind the contrast, I have no issue with that. As a matter of fact, most of my bands do not exactly match my black stainless steel and regular stainless steel as I prefer the contrast. To each their own.

You're right, to each his own. Probably some 3rd party ones would match color. I just assume someone that paid for a Ceramic might be choosier on colors..

Like previous poster said, only 1 of the Nike bands that came with a Nike Watch is sold separately.

I'm very picky with colors. If they were supposed to match, then they need to. However, having a matte cream colored band with a gloss white head sounds perfect. I'd have to actually see it, of course, but the general idea is that if they are different enough so that it doesn't look like you are trying to match them, it will be fine.

My sentiment exactly!!

You're just being too optimistic.

Yeah, it might eventually be available separately from the watch, but it will be far enough out so that they won't lose any potential watch sales by doing it. My guess is at least a year, if they do it at all.

That said, has anyone been able to find any knock-offs yet? I've been watching, but so far just the standard colors. It hasn't been out (or known about) for very long, but I'm eager to get one of these bands.

I haven't been able to find one yet! I even messaged one of the vendors and asked for it. Kind of odd - I expected to see knock-offs almost immediately, and now it is looking like it might never happen.

Still can't get one without a watch attached from Apple or Nike either.
