No one here knows, even though some act like it. Apple may or may not change the device so that the old bands no longer fit.

They did get rid of the phone jack so . . . .

Only time will tell.

Whilst I agree it’s worth pointing out they did make sure you could use your old headphones still

I haD the Stainless black AW.
Switched to Samsung so I sold the Watch and funny enough Inspot one in Home Depot today and it looked really nice!

There won’t be a 48 mm display, I’m sure it’s an edge to edge increase versus an overall increase with the size the Apple Watch.

42mm is the screen size right? A S4 could theoretically increase to 48mm display without increasing the overall size. I'm not sure if this would accurately result in a 48mm display but something like this...

For the record I'd be fine with the watch getting a little bigger, especially if it meant better battery life and/or a thinner design.

I’m assuming this is Rhetorical Being there is only two size Apple Watches.

Right, I mentioned this before that it doesn’t necessarily mean the casing will be any larger, but it doesn’t mean the casing won’t alter in some form or another, it means that Apple could reduce the bezels, but either way, the current rumor seems highly likely a larger display is coming. That’s a good graphic you provided by the way.

A Larger Battery is also rumored to accompany a 15% larger display and additional health sensors. But I doubt the new Apple Watch will be any thinner than it currently is.

If you believe Kuo’s words, he literally writes the S4 will have a “more trendy form factor design.”

That makes it extremely unlikely the Watch case would be the same size, especially when the battery life is supposed to increase along with 15% bigger display.
