So what highscores are you guys getting? I made it to stage 15 with 79330 points so far (Ultra version). The stages are getting really short at that speed.

I think that will happen after Nintendo finishes up the PSP and Xbox Live Arcade versions of Super Mario Brothers 3.

Yeah I think they are a day late and a dollar short with the release of Breakout. There have been so many clones at this point. Missile Command looks nice but I'm not too compelled to buy it.
There are so many Atari Classics that I'd shell out cash for but no these two.

Why are we being lied to?
Despite my review, all the iTunes screens are fakes and not the real game.
Everything is wrong in the stills when I discovered a hidden still in iTunes that's actually the game. Maybe it's new and they are changing it, but the original stills are what I bought it based off of.
When you load the page up below in iTunes, it shows a total of 4 stills, the first being an actual shot of the game, if you flip through the stills, suddenly it becomes 5 stills, all fake and the original real shot is gone.

The effect for the main green missiles is different, not as nice, and the UFO shots are the same and not different like in the fake still. Missile launchers are smaller and less clear. The explosions are much smaller and less detailed. Overall, not as polished as we were tricked by the fake stills.
I have to leave for work, so that's all I have time for.

Likely they are from the next version, or from a prototype that was too powerful for the iPhone.

The UFO shots in both the original and new one look the same to me.... the only difference I see is that the UFO in the "new" shot has a little red missile thing in front of it, but if you look closely it is clear it is otherwise almost identical.
Regarding the other aspects, I personally don't think it is less polished......... playing it on the iPhone itself, I think the more visible missile trails is probably a benefit - from the earlier version, it looks like it would have been harder to make out.
