Good point. Tell me what frequency should I set my stereo so I can listen to Beats 1 radio & hear the live broadcast of his program? So can I use any podcast app and subscribe to Zane Lowe's show on Beats 1 just as I can for any other podcast?

A program is a performance. Any song is a program. So your definition is an audio program produced exclusively for distribution over the internet that can be only listened to by downloading and which is available to be subscribed to?
The point is there are live radio programs that are podcasts. Is that a yes or a no?
Beats1 is only broadcast online, but you knew that already.
If you wanted to be really picky, I suppose we could start a new discussion about the definition of "radio", but if the answer to my previous question is "no" then, whatever else, it probably isn't a podcast.
I'm not sure what the original point was anyway, except to somehow belittle what it is.
I've never heard anyone when confronted w/ the definition of a podcast start saying songs are podcasts. Anyway, songs are performances, If the entirety of the performance is one song, that's the program.Any song is not a program. It would be a hard reach to even try to classify any single song by itself as a "program" period. I've never heard anyone refer to a song as a program, or songs as "programs". I'm almost certain you've not heard people commonly refer to songs as "programs" and before this conversation I doubt you in your mind have often thought of songs as "programs".
On top of that, none of the definitions I could find had something that I could see classifying a "song" as a "program". Nor did I see the word "song" or "program" mentioned in any of the definitions of either. Songs can be included in programs but I dont see how a song by itself can be classified as a "program".

Um, I don't think anyone said it was revolutionary.
What is it about Apple and "revolutionary" that means any time - gasp! - they ever do anything that isn't revolutionary, they can't do it without a sarcastic remark about not being revolutionary?
Maybe its just me, but I find the whole thing a bit odd.
If you're expecting anything and everything Apple ever do to be revolutionary, you might need to reign those expectations back in, or be sorely disappointed.

Jonathan stop getting your Apple pants in a twist. Read this official Apple Press Release in relation to Music that uses the word "Revolutionary" 4 times. Also Jimmy Iovine used the same word in his lacklustre product release.

Yes Indeed...So far, it's failing to draw in this listener.
You need an Apple Music subscription for that.A less hidden way is right on the Beats 1 page in iTunes. All the shows are there. Hopefully this will eliminate the need for a 12 hour repeat every day and fill the time with more live shows.
