Looks good, I don't see that band paired with the SS SB on the Apple sight though. Have you used that band during a workout yet? I assume it doesn't stick to your wrist as much as the Apple sport band does. I may order it, looks really nice, thanks for posting pictures.

You know, I think you could be right. it could be the Aluminum Space Gray they show the band with. Sorry about that! Every time I looked at it, I saw the Space Black just because it was not Silver. Oops.

I haven't used it in a rigorous workout but the other day it was in the 70s and I was in jeans. Went for a walk with the family which involved some running around. Did get sweaty. The band felt cool and did not stick like the regular sports band had in the past. This is definitely my go to band for activities.
[doublepost=1490579332][/doublepost]@BullittMustang - you may want to peruse this thread - some have the Space Black and may post pictures there. Someone has with the Black/Volt band.

Saying to go to Apple.com to view vector drawings of watches is hardly the same as real photos - which forum members enjoy seeing here. That's the whole point of a forum - to share thoughts, opinions and photos. Thanks for the photos, but by directing people to a website instead of saying you don't have SBSS to show off is a little dismissive to forum members.

Agreed. Which Apple's photo's are rendered for advertising and not practical based off actual depictions.
There is nothing better than seeing actual photo's of a product on somebody's wrist or various angles of what the actual product looks like from different angles.

If the OP would have been offended he would have stated such and is probably capable of expressing that him/herself. As it is, they did not. Additionally, when I realized my error that Apple was not showing the SB SS, but the aluminum SG, I apologized for that oversight.

I sincerely thought the Apple site had PICTURES of actual watches with their bands as do the multitude of others with showing their bands. Quite frankly, what they do show is quite accurate.

I get the point of what forums are all about. I've been involved in forums since their inception and BBS's, before them. In fact, all throughout THIS forum, you will see people referring others to web sites all the time. Including Apple's.

It's all good. I certainly was not offended. I appreciate you taking the time to post pictures of your setup. I did look at the Apple site first before I posted here. I went back and double checked after you said you saw them there, but that is no big deal.
Have a good day everyone.

Fair enough point. I get it. BUT, the pictures on Apple.com are not "real" life photos, otherwise we would not see people here asking for "real" life photos. I hope you see my point.

I'm really enjoying it. The one thing that always bothered me about the Space Black with the black sports band was that it kinda made the watch look plastic. The space grey sports model had a better contrast between the watch and the band, and with the SBSS and Black Nike band it kinda replicates that look in reverse. Hard to tell in the pictures but the band is actually a dark gray.

Thanks for posting the pics. Do you feel the band is more comfortable than the Apple sport band?

Very similar, although I did notice tonight while cooking on the grill that I didn't have the desire to rip it off like I normally do. I don't know if it was placebo, or maybe the holes make it cooler, but normally when I get really hot it annoys me, and tonight it didn't for whatever reason

That's what I didn't like about the Apple sport band. Seemed like it would grip my arm, and if I loosened it to the next hole, it would be too loose. I bought the leather loop, it's nice, but I would like something for workouts. I also can't stop thinking about getting the stainless steel link bracelet, just can't justify spending $550 on it.

You are correct, the sport band will ultimately have very little movement or grip your arm when in warmer temperatures. It also makes it very difficult for your wrist to breathe and it traps moisture underneath the band. I think The Nike band will ultimately rectify those two issues.

Also, I own the black/regular stainless link bracelets from Apple, while they are very nice and elegant in their own right. I would not spend that type of money again, due to the third party link bracelets that are available on the market for far less. I think Apple's link bracelets are much higher quality, but third party link bracelets are nearly indistinguishable from the Apple link bracelets when side-by-side.

You can Purchase a good third party link bracelet for around $65-$75. And there are some very reputable third-party manufacturers for the link bracelet.

Have you tried the Milanese loop? It's my favorite for workouts because you can adjust the size so easily. Whenever I work out my wrist size changes a little bit due to blood flow, and the Milanese makes it easy to tighten or loosen quickly

The Milanese loop was the one band that I didn't get used to. Mainly being I had to constantly retighten it throughout the day. You make a good point about how your wrist enlarges when working out, your body naturally swells somewhat when you exert during physical activity with increased blood flow.

I really like the Nike + bands. Debating on whether to get this black on black or get the platinum one. I think the platinum would look sharp with the space gray but don't know how dirty the white would get in my work.

Am I the only one that's a bit miffed that Apple have removed the black/yellow band as the standard band?

I was thinking of getting a 42mm a couple of weeks ago and I've now realised it will cost me £50 more, as I now have to buy it separately.

What's nice about the Nike bands, is even if they get dirty, they clean up very easily with a little soap and warm water. The same also applies to the Sport flueroastamer bands.

My thought exactly. I'm about to hit an order until I realised there is no Volt option.

I was really disappointed as well that they stopped offering the space grey/black volt combo. I only saw the black/anthracite and silver/platinum combos available online and in stores. I have a few black straps for my SS space black series 2 and the only reason I wanted the Nike variant was for my outdoor activities, the audacious Volt band and the exclusive Nike faces.

I happened to be at my Apple Store yesterday and was absolutely thrilled to find a leftover Space Grey/Black Volt. Since I also had a $100 Apple gift card, I pulled the trigger asap and applied the gift voucher towards the purchase. Really glad that I could find one in that combo. Saved myself 50 bucks, as I would have eventually purchased the Volt band anyways.

I would suggest those seeking a similar combo, to visit their nearest Apple Store or even try calling other stores within the vicinity and check if they have some leftovers.
