I never had the original bumper, but it is pretty much the same size as my SGP Neo Hybrid EX.
I'll try to get more and better pictures in an hour after some charging of my camera.
how long did it take for you to receive your order once you got the shipping confirmation email?

The dock opening was cutout for the stock iPhone charger. So bigger chargers won't fit in well.
Anyone know if any ebayer is selling cables with the smaller sized connectors?
$20 a pop with three iphones, whew too much for me.
Ya I'm talking about the line. You don't see that line on the casemate hula for instance.
I ordered the first day of the thread and got mine today, too, much quicker than expected. I'm pretty happy with it especially for the price! Compared to my pink eBay "apple" bumper, the rubber part is more rubbery/grippy. I love that I was able to get one with black rubber and pink plastic, as the black around the screen is much less distracting and won't get dirty like the pink, but I still have that touch of girliness. 
It fit perfectly even with the clear side pieces I have on, and no bubbling of the screen protector, front .r back. And it's nice and snug. My one complaint is the volume buttons seem to be almost "floating" a bit, like I could easily get a fingernail under one and pry them off. The + and - markings look more like those of the real apple bumper than my eBay one, though; the lines are finer. Hope that's helpful to someone!

I ordered on Nov 15th and got it today, I'm in WI if that helps.
These new bumpers are the bees knees. So much nicer than the actual Apple bumpers. The edges are rounded on the dock connector so it doesn't chew your pinky finger up. Not a common thing for most people. Volume buttons are nicer and don't clatter.
My old iPhone charger fits enough to get a charge. I am not 100% sure it will work with all 3rd party USB adapters. The plastic is soft enough to snip away though (unlike a damn Dremel needed on the Apple ones).
The vibrate switch hole actually allows you to use the vibrate switch as well!!!
edit: black trim/white sides, does not interfere with screen protectors

There are 30 colors in this style. It's surprising that Apple hasn't actually released bumpers in these sorts of colors.

Well, I received my Red/Black Bumper today. I'm impressed. If I had to guess, I'd say that these are made by the same company that makes them officially for Apple.
It even came in the exact same packaging as my official Apple Bumper. Take a look at the photos..... the box on the left is the box that came with my official black Apple Bumper, the box on the right is the one that my red/black one came in that I received today. I even scanned the UPC sticker that's on the back of the new box with my Amazon app, and it pulls up a black Apple Bumper.

Yep. Packaging is definitely the same. Although there seems to be different versions of the packaging. There are some that say 'For 4G Bumpers' and have blank backs. Some have the Apple logo with 'iPhone 4 Bumpers', so who knows.
I am almost certain that these are a 'redesign' of the current bumper and Apple is going to launch all of these colors. Seems like people really want the two-tone bumpers.
Hmmm I thought the phone was in the bumper backwards, but its just the image thats flipped
