You won’t see it by pull down notifications. It pops up automatically. It’s the same notification you get when you close a ring. But it’s all 3 at once.

View attachment 752225 Guess I missed at again, this I what I saw right when I felt the taps...

So I was experiencing the same issue when watchOS 4.0 was released, my wife’s S1 would animate the ring closings and my S2 would only give me a solid screen notification you posted above (we both had Goal Completions turned on in the Activity settings).

After some research, I had to go into WATCH app on the iPhone -> Notifications -> turn off Notification Privacy, and the activity goal notification animations started to display (but only when you are first alerted to the notification, otherwise it will display the non-animated notification when you check your unread notifications at a later time).

Hope this helps.

Interesting, going to give it a try. Wish the animation would play without having to turn that setting off. Like clean notifications when texts and other items come through. Will see tomorrow morning since I’ll be going for a run.

I wasn’t wild about turning that setting off either, but I’m used to it now. If I get a notification after I raise to wake and don’t want it displayed, I just cover the watch face with the palm of my hand to turn the display off, thus making it an unread notification.

Keep us updated. :)
