I bet someone is complaining about the ending. That is dumb.

it's not just the ending. The whole «commercial» is meant to be fun...

«All you can do with the parfait is to eat it.... And poop it out...»

It would be fun to see it on Apples site tho... :)

i think you missed my point sparkley...i never said he didnt know what he was talking about, i simply pointed out that he (at least so far) was very atypical of the people Apple had been getting to do these ads. I wasnt even saying it was a bad thing, just a character departure from what they had been doing.

although i like the new ads, some of these new "switchers"don't seem to really be switchers. Tony Hawk, dj qbert, an kelly slater dont really talk about a switch from a pc. they just explain what they do with their macs. this isn't necessarily a bad thing, just thought i'd put in my 2 cents:rolleyes:

I don't think these people have to be switchers. I think that they are just people trying to get others to switch. I thought this at first when the guy teenager did his ad. I didn't really get the idea that he had switched, more that he thought Macs were cool and that's how these celeb ones are like.

Dang, there I go blowing hot air again...

I agree with P-Worm..... I think that's exactly what it's about.

That's what it's about now. That's not at all what the switch campaign was about until this recent crop of ads was release. Apple just changed the direction of the switch campaign significantly.

ok, on subject. none of my friends have switched because of any ads....they love PC's. that's fine, but my neighbors are so frustrated with their emachine, they now love to use our iBook.

They've had some problems grasping the concept of the dock, but I have noticed OSX is much easier for them than OS9. OS9 was just ready to die.

Maybe there'll be a new iMac in the neighborhood one day (wait, they keep using my washer too, they say they can't afford a new one) I guess I answered my own ?
