Duh! It's a joke. How can Apple redesign two of the most anticipated products(MB/MBP + Cinema's) for redesign at the same time?

I'll wrap it in [SARCASM] the next time. :p

Oh, okay. Then again, the new ACD's might be the "One more thing" at the presentation, if there is one.

i was wondering the same thing because the product life has been long over due to be updated

I agree, if this happens, it would confirm a major product release for january.

Come on Steve, make your "One more thing" the new ACDs.....

i think the new cinema display will allow the notebooks to slide into it, just like recently patented apple docking station.

good point. but there should be an option to get the display without the docking bay, in case you don´t have a notebook and just want to use a display on a mac pro. i think the docking bay is going to make the display enclosure thicker, although the new MB and MBPs seem to be quite thin.

Think about ventilation.

On a side note, Steve hasn't done "one more thing" in awhile...:(

True. I like watching the Keynotes because he has very good stage presence. When he says "But...there is one more thing..." it's fun because the audience will often know already that there is one more thing and will start cheering as he says it. I like when that happens, I can practically feel the energy. That's why I like sports games when everyone is motivated and cheering. It's fun.

This would make a lot more sense if they did it during a MacPro refresh. The event s listed as turning the spotlight to the notebook, so one would think a desktop display would stick out like a cat at a dog and pony show.

Keep in mind, some people like to use their laptop with a desktop monitor at home. And I doubt Apple would want them to go buy something from the competition. ;)

Releasing new displays now could also entice people who were "fence sitting" on the possibility of purchasing a new Mac Pro when released. :)

;) ya...I think (and I really hope) tomorrow is the right day for new ACDs. There was no rumor about this, except the patent application mentioned before.
