I can't wait to deploy the iWatch on my wrist. I truly do believe it could change the way we conceive a wristwatch forever.
No, it is not "classy" to carry a pocket watch in 2014. It's silly. Just because it is old fashioned doesn't mean it's elegant. That just doesn't work, just like wearing a trench coat and fedora and smoking a pipe in 2014 doesn't work. If it's not ironic it basically communicates that you have trouble dealing with the presence. I don't think Apple wants to be connected to this kind of mindset. And that's exactly Apple do better than anyone else. "Classy products".
Shows how much I pay attention to smart watches. Huh.
It shouldn't be but the only reason The Verge (and now Mac Rumors) is drooling over this concept is because they think it's stylish. I think the Verge referred to it as the first good looking smart watch concept they've seen. Of course when it comes to wearables fashion and style are very important but functionality is more important and these slick looking concepts don't have to consider that, at least not in these sense of how the product is engineered, how the concept turns into a product a company could sell.

I don't know if you can say that functionality is more important than fashion. Wearables aren't like smartphones where you can just stick them in your pocket. The wrist is very prominent. Everyone will see you checking the time on your watch. So yes, a smartwatch that's long on looks and short on functionality isn't going to sell very much, but the reverse is also true-a watch that's long on function but short on looks is also not going to sell.
But I REALLY hope they go with round. I've never seen a square watch that anyone with any self respect would wear in public.

Viber "Notoficacions"? Really?
But other than that, cool concept.
I don't understand what point you're trying to make? (presuming you're not being ignorant that not everyone on Earth speaks English !)
Another idea I had.
What if Apple design this like a pocket watch of old?
Something like this but designed better.
I think the design of the one with the brown leather strap is a superior design than anything we've seen thus far.
Really? So someone spending time and effort to produce a visual rendering is not allowed, but yammering on about it on a rumours forum is okay to you? Stop posting rubbish please.![]()
Exactly!Stop posting rubbish please.![]()
Let me think. Is your name Tim Cook? No. Is your name Jony Ives? No. Your name is "olivers". I don't think you have any say in who Apple hires and who they don't hire. And what this man did is indeed a very fine design. Maybe right now Samsung wishes they had hired him.
