Depends upon how much you care about your signal reception. Not supposed to be as big of an issue on the Pros vs the Vapor 4s. The metal bumpers look sharp, but again, I'd want something with more shock absorption for the back glass panel. I feel like the shock from a drop would just transfer from a metal bumper directly into the phone's frame sans backpiece or cushioning. Then again, I'm kind of biased against bumpers in general because of this concern.

TBF shock protection wouldn't be on the top list of priorities for anyone purchasing an Element Vapor case.

I bought the ION 4, but when I put it on, it peeled off the invisible shield protector on my phone. And even after it was on, when I held the phone, the edges of the protector would come off. I loved the case though. Just valued the invisibleshield more than the look.

For those with the Formula 4 case, any issues with the soft touch finish of the case or problems with the carbon fiber plate peeling or such with some time? I have been eying this case for some time and may finally purchase if it is holding up well for those who have it. TIA.

I've had the Formula 4 for months and it has worked great. I have had no problems at all with the case. Enjoy it

I was thinking of picking up a formula case. They are on sale for $50 with 10% off.

Does the carbon fiber back interfere with the signal at all?

Can somebody please post some pictures modeling the case? Like to see it on a white iPhone. Or black...

Thanks

The carbon fiber back does not interfere with the signal at all. I really like these cases, despite its high price. I have (not so great) photos of the khaki colored with the carbon kevlar backplate. Its the same case as the non-kevlar. The back just looks different.

Can anyone tell me if you can dock the 4s when using the formula 4 case without having to take the bottom of the case off. i am using one of the itech docks (link below) and there is quite a lot of room around the connector, the connector also moves back and forth, so its probably a case of whether the 30 pin connector is long enough. anyone had any experience with this dock or other docks in general.
