boy, it's like Christmas as a kid, huh? not knowing what will be under the tree, not being able to sleep...sigh. i'm an adult and i'm not ashamed to say that i'll have a hard time sleeping tonight knowing that tomorrow will bring with it a bushel of amazing apple products...nice. :D

Anyone know what time tomorrow we will find out? What time is this unveiling at? Any live coverage?

Do you think we'll get to see the presentation?...like when they came out with the white ibook and the ipod...both released at the Apple Campus.

It is not a done deal yet. It is still rumored but since Steve is the largest shhareholder I think that it is a high probability.

Wish I had Apple stock!

Actually I was just joking - if it was a done deal I'm sure we would have heard more about it. ;)

Here's the proof: this image was under the iMac's order page for several days after it was introduced but was later removed. The icon is different from the one currently used in Front Row (iMovie), clearly indicating a change in the category of videos. Why put a cinema style icon...they will add actual films of course.

I read somewhere that that was just an earlier version of front row.

To be honest with you, I'm not expecting much. Pretty much because I think I'll be disappointed if it's not something amazing. I really, really want to see a pda/ipod touch screen device but I know that if I expect it, I will be disappointed. The only thing that is weird is the fun "NEW" products, so it will be more than just a mini going intel. However, the boombox would be new.

Oh well, tomorrow (today) is almost here so it's just a matter of time until all the macrumors "aftermath-of-an-apple-event" threads begin to pop up. Here's hoping for the best out of the announcements to come.
 
Well. today is the 28th but for those of us on this side of the Atlantic (in the UK and Europe) we will have to wait until at least 7 p.m. to start getting any real news - how am I supposed to work today???
 
Any word yet as to whether there will be any live coverage? MacRumors will link to it if there is any, but do we know for sure there will be any?

Things I'd buy today if they are announced are a Mac mini DVR with Sky+ and Sky HD support (uses the Sky cards directly, no box required), a tablet, a phone, a MacBook aka iBook), an iPod 6G (I'll buy the 5G tonight if no 6G comes out), iPod sound system and probably anything else they release.

BTW, I'm a n00b on the forums but I've been reading the news for a long time - ever since I made the switch back in March 2004.
 
i'd like to see a 10 or 15 gig nano sized ipod. I picked up a mini a year or so ago then the nano came out. I need more space but don't want a bigger ipod.
