I'd love to see some type of rich blue colored option come to the iPhone. That rumored image from earlier this summer and I think a mock up of it looked rather nice.

I'm not saying that the actual iPhone 7 won't look like this (Disappointed as I am about it) but there is something about these photos that doesn't look right to me. Granted they may be depictions of what the production phone will look like. The apple logo on the back doesn't sit flush and the antenna bands on the back seem to have an overlapping look where the band right angles away to the front of the phone. Again I'm sure the new phone will look something like this but as for "this exact" representation I'm not so sure. The entire design just looks harsh :-(.

This is just my opinion but if the 7 doesn't have anything breakthrough behind the veil I might just go down to the SE. I really miss that design.

What is supposed to be exciting or special about these pictures? Looks like nothing more than a 6S with repositioned antenna bands. This phone is going to fail miserably.

You know what's interesting? More and more people are taking photos with FaceTime rather than iSight. I'd actually like to see some improvements on the FaceTime side. The iSight camera is already pretty good.

As a distraction, I feel Apple will release a blue color as well. However, I have a feeing if blue was released it would be a muted lighter blue.

I love my Apple leather case and plan to buy another to fit the new model. I don't care what the phone looks like on the back, don't care about the camera hump and know the case will level out the rear to sit flush. I do care about the speed, function and quality and all of that will be included. I prefer a black bezel so whatever color it is on the back to have a black face is again fine with me. The 7 will be faster as usual and will easily meet my needs and I do plan to be in line for the upgrade.

I've been wrong before at least once in my life, especially when it comes to mechanical stuff but to me that looks like a handmade plastic mockup. I wouldn't call them hi res images of an iPhone

We're in 2016.
Samsung has the Note 7. Dual curved screens, waterproofing, stylus with built in functionality, split screen for supported apps. And of course, 3.5mm jack and USB-C charging + wireless charging. Functional NFC.
Meanwhile, Apple will soon have the iPhone 7. iOS 9 brings nothing drastic, the design is already dated with no headphone jack according to rumors such as these.
I'm just saying, the competition is very, very good.

This is terrible compared to older generations.
On the contrary, this is the first time since the glass iPhone 4/4s that Apple has found an aesthetically pleasing antenna design with a non-awful camera position. This ends a four year streak of bad iPhone design.

I find it hilarious that some peeps here are justifying the removal of the headphone jack in Ive's attempt to make the phone a fraction of millimetres thinner - but approve a design with bezels as big as a house.

While I like the iPhone and iOS in general, that design looked dated and tired 2 years ago already.
Preach...

I think Apple pushes these leaks on us so much in order to avoid the shock of how ugly the phone is.

I used to find the dual camera design horrible, but seeing it so much, I've grown to... like it?!

That's certainly the least charitable interpretation of events.

Another could be that Apple fans like to freak out about everything new and that in reality the design is pretty good.

Let me see if i get this right. They removed this <sarcasm> huge 3.5mm port </sarcasm> and couldnt use any of that space to get rid of the camera bump? What the heck did they use the space for via the removal of the port?

I am so dreading having to use an adapter with my $100 headphones now, yay apple!

Even considering that these are probably not "real", chances are that the iPhone will look exactly like this, going by the leaks of all the past iPhones. The leaks at this time, month before reveal, were always exactly what the real thing looked like.

In which case, I am glad I just received a new iPhone 6S Plus as a warranty replacement. The new battery will be nice and last the year until the next iPhone is released in 2017.

I just hope it will look nothing like this POS.
