The only thing of the iPhone 7 what's real I house design will be the A10. All the rest is glued together from Samsung, Sony and other Chinese brands. What Apple does in a year time, the competition does in 6 months.

We will hear superlatives about the camera when it comes out. But since it's from Sony, many brands will follow with the same or better.

What's left is iOS 10 and a big bezel phone with an 2014 appearance and a 2016 price, YAWN.

Go Samsung, go Xiaomi, go Huawei! Show Apple how it's done!

Glad now apple-gold looks more golden. I'm a big wealth person and I want ladies to see my gold.

I wish they make a real gold model. I don't care the price, I will buy it.

WHY MACRUMORS? There wasn't even a mention that these could be dummy models (which they 100% are). Instead you treated it as a genuine leak and looked at it as confirmation?!
If you want a high quality image of dummy models, here you go:

And I'm sure there are also better ones out there.

What is the actual benefit of the second camera?
It is my understanding that the two camera iPhone will snap two pictures and use software to assemble a clearer/sharper picture. It seems like it would be getting a higher resolution without higher resolution camera.

Also you can look up info in the Lytro system and in some ways it works similarly.

I suppose it's similar to the Lytro system in the sense that both technologies use an electronic sensor to create a digital photo of some form. Other than that, not at all.

Another iPhone 6 like....with no home button......maybe...and different specs.

I would hate to hear Tim say "it's amazing products.." Or something similar.

Look at the Huawei P9 and you'll understand the benefits ;)

You know... IF the back camera has to protrude (something I find unfortunate), this is an improved design. It appears the lens of the camera will not touch a flat surface (thanks to what appears to be an ever so slight aluminum lip around the lens) when placed back camera side down on said flat surface. That slight lip should go a long way towards helping the lens avoid wear/tear.

I'm currently using a 6 and that has always been bothersome. The only team at Apple that could have possibly thought "the lens touches? Perfect." could have been the MFi team. And even they were surprised.

While I've been fortunate enough to have never skipped 2 iPhone cycles, I plan to ride out my 6 in hopes the 2017 edition pushes the envelope a bit more than what we're expecting this Sept. Now if my battery can juuuust hold on...

Been there for the last 4 iterations ... get over it already.

There isn't a single flagship smartphone that doesn't "sport" the camera bump.

And it's unfortunate with this mad obsession over antenna bands and a camera bump. It's seems so immature and to the point where it's border insanity. If I am a Minority in this squabble to appreciate the iPhone 7, so be it and looking forward to it!

Horrible business idea. Having a superior camera on the plus-only devices? So now somebody like me, who loves photography - has to choose between a comfortable device, or a less comfortable size with a better camera? So silly.

It isn't insanity - it's poor design. Why not be outraged over the still ugly, only moved antennae bands? Or that huge camera hump? It doesn't look nice. On a device that costs $800-$1,000.

I thought the home button was supposed to be "flush?" I didn't really understand what the claim about it being "flush" meant, but that's just the regular ol' home button from what I can tell.

MR are using the old spaghetti against the wall trick - then they can tally it all up at the end and say how "correct" they were at promoting the rumours.

When the comments are nothing
More than the camera bump and antenna lines, its border insane to discuss it over and over again. I will purchase the iPhone 7 on day one. And guess what, Apple can have my money and I am not traumatized by physical aspects. As long as the iPhone meets my expectations.

If your 'Outraged' by antenna bands, then I suggest therapy for you, because that comment is Ridiculous.

And no, your wrong, not all iPhones cost between $800.00-$1,000. It depends on what storage tier. My 6s was $650.00, which is far cheaper than some other competitor phones on the market. Even the 6s Plus is only $750.00 for a base model, still cheaper than what you quoted.

If this phone is indeed going to be called the iPhone 7, can we expect a similar looking phone with a 7S label next year? Are they actually going to keep this horrid design for 4 years?

No. Next year is the tenth anniversary iPhone and will be completely overhauled. There already have been rumors discussing this.

And some appreciate the look of the iPhone6/6S and look forward to the iPhone 7. To say it's horrid is a bit extreme. Not everyone agree's with you.
