The iPhone 4 was the worst security ever, and Jobs was still with the company then. It has nothing to do with Steve being gone.

It has everything to do with having to work with more and more partners to bring 10's of millions of these things to market for launch.

It's easy to hide 30 iPads, less so 30 million.

Well, if it's sarcasm, he should have used smileys. That's what they're for.

Sarcasm often isn't communicated well in print, partly when non-native speakers are involved and there are readers from countries where sarcasm is less used.

Without a doubt, tech rumor sites attract a large readership of international folks, so sarcasm in American English should be carefully exercised, again with the use of smileys as a hint of what the writer's intent is. In live verbal communications, there are often enough other cues that helps the listener determine if sarcasm is being used.
