I used the first code (thanks!) so these are the ones that remain:

Will give feedback later!

As for a review.

The good:
- The UI is very clean
- Textboxes automatically expand to the edge of the page
- Easy to move textboxes around without switching tools
- Convenient to make annotations AND insert pages with notes (this is the only app that seems to be good at both)

The bad:
- No text selection in PDFs
- No zoom pane for handwriting text
- Changing pages by tapping buttons… would be nice if (say) you could swipe between pages using two fingers
- The scrollbar is weird

Suggestions:
- When a page has a note attached to it, change the note icon to indicate this
- When erasing there should be an outline for the eraser

Mostly I feel your app is a bit lacking in features overall and it also lacks features that make it stand out. On the other hand, I do think that other apps either only handle text well or handle drawings well. Yours seems to do both fairly well. In fact, I'm traveling this Friday and I think I'll try to use your app to do some mathematics. I'll try to report back!

Hi,

I used TXNWARKWYW6L, many thanks.

All the other codes are used, even though no-one posted to say they used them :(

All recent codes used. Too bad some schmucks won't update the list when they take them.

Thanks so much for your most valuable suggestions and reviews.

We will keep continued upgrade and enhancement for our lag features. Really appreciate for your great feedback and suggestions. :)

Looks solid...

Hi. I really like how you have been open to user opinion in this thread and I have been checking out the Lite version of your product.

Like many people I would love to find a single solution for my note taking, simple mock ups and PDF reading.

Currently, I own Good Reader and Penultimate, as well as use IBooks and IPad. I've looked at a list of others such as Note Taker HD and iAnnotate.*

I look forward to your next update. *I have found that simple is better and too much functionality clutters the UI. If I were still a college student I might use Note Taker Hd, but I am not so I am looking for something streamlined and easy to use. So, some users might push you for more functionality, however i think there are already players in that area.*

I like your thumbnail scrolling. It's a must and something I can't believe GoodReader doesn't have. The resolution of your thumbs is fine for fast loading and much better than Upad Lite. However the image resolution for scanned PDFs is a little worse than GoodReader which is a drawback.

I personally like how iBooks and Upad does their bookmarks. Simple, elegant and can be viewed and sorted from the thumbnail view.

When sending sections of a PDF Upad has a more elegant way of choosing sections to be sent. *Fast reading of PDFs, simple highlights and notes, and sending part to colleagues for discussion is what I mainly want to do. I am not sold on the speed of your page turning. Is the animation needed? Does it slow it down?*

Anyways, I suppose I could go on. However, my opinion is instead of trying to go nuts on functionality, get a core of functions, and do it really really well.*

In the end I like the look of your UI and I look forward to seeing what you do.

Thanks so much for your great feedback.

Hey
have a look at Skim's export text function that lets you export notes, highlights with page number as a text file that can be fed into any word processing software.
If your app could do that, that'd be the only one I'd need on an Ipad.

I installed the free version.... biggest drawback for me:

I can't do folder in folder (in folder etc.)

I have a few 100 docs sorted by customers, projects, datasheets, test support etc.

Any Document Management system that can do that?

(in Windows I just use Win Explorer which is just perfect for that. iOS totally sux in that respect)

Update: Actually Dropbox can do folders in folders in folders endlessly. I found what I wanted to find.

DocAS 3.0

I downloaded the DocAS 3.0 Lite version a few weeks ago and really like it. i am always looking for and testing different apps and purchased QuickOffice awhile ago. In my initial usage of DocAS Lite, I like the simplicity of it's UI and ease of use in creating and editing docs much more than using QO. Plus having the PDF annotation capability is terrific.

Keep up the good work.
