Is there a way to change the resolution on an ipad pro? I saw these in the Apple Store, and the icons looked comically big (IMO).
I used to think Apple iOS devices kept resolution so that a icon to start an app was about the size of a fingertip...
For me the hardest thing was relearning to type on the larger screen after using the 9.7 for so long.Same here. I just got the 12.9 iPad Pro and my god its huge! Still getting used to it but I think its going to be great!
Its funny you mention that, I began having this issue tonight and was like...man this feels different. lolFor me the hardest thing was relearning to type on the larger screen after using the 9.7 for so long.
I'm Really happy with mine, but I'm kind of wishing I went with a Cellular Model, and not sure why. I keep looking at them and can't figure the advantage of having one. Can someone please tell me why it's an advantage to having the cellular model?

I was actually looking at the Cellular model when buying my 12.9 in March, but it was the Apple Store sales guy that talked me out of it. He said everyone just tethers to their phone. Which I have done, not that often, but I can do it no problem. Also like not having to pay for an extra plan just for data for the Ipad Pro, since I have AT&T and I have more than enough data to share with it, I don't use much. So really unsure why I would need it, except for the find my Ipad option if lost or stolen. Or to use for GPS. Still intrigues me though.
Also, Not sure what the new Ipad Pro would have that I would HAVE to have. I have yet to see the Ipad Pro 9.7 with True tone display, so not sure i'm missing anything. I don't have an Iphone so don't even know what the 3D touch is, so not missing that. Nothing really screams buy me from the rumors I've read, just curious as to why I keep looking at the Cellular model.
It's really just the convenience of not having to tether or use a hotspot when out of the house. My iPad is cellular, but I just bought wifi models for my kids. The savings is substantial.
...and cellular for the kids (as it's their only device, and it makes it quite easy for accessing content while travelling and on the go).
My kids aren't old enough to leave the house alone yet. 🙂
And we have an AT&T mobile hotspot.
Convenience. Even with Continuity, hotspot doesn't always connect seamlessly. Sometime, the iPhone doesn't even show up on the list of networks and I'd have to dig through my bag to find my iPhone and do a hard reset. Besides, it's only $10/month to add an iPad to an existing shared data account.I'm Really happy with mine, but I'm kind of wishing I went with a Cellular Model, and not sure why. Just got a 12.9 over the weekend. As I stated elsewhere, since I consume content and don't create it... it's perfect for me and my ipads have all but replaced my replaced my macbook...
