It is official now, the 720p webcam was left to allow for a 4k dongle to be attached.
Does it come with a calculator app?![]()
The 2019 MacBook Air had Wi-Fi 4, I think we can expect the Air to always be one behind the most current generation.
It's crazy that Apple didn't want to blow another .15 and make the front-facing camera 1080p. I mean, it's 2020.
Built from the ground up with maximum profit to the .01 in mind and to protect the MBP from sale loses.Another new product designed with "courage". Applespeak for....no headphone jack.![]()
MBP is using older Coffee Lake processors which don't support it.Well, the 16" MacBook Pro doesn't have it either.
yeah my bad, I knew something had changed, of course it was Bluetooth, up from 4.2 to 5.0The MacBook Air had Wi-Fi 5 since mid-2013, at the time it was called Wi-Fi AC, at that WWDC they also introduced the last Airport Extreme.

Perhaps, you're new to how Tim Cook operates. He is tighter than a cats' meow, and it's not technically oriented. Kidding aside, I have no idea why they decided not to implement 1080, although I'm sure cost had something to do with it.
Next year’s? 😬 Think you’re being generous there. An i3 Mac, wow, how times has change. This will be super duper slow with next year macOS
We just bought my brother a MacBook Air 13” yesterday before the new release. Should we return this for the new one?
Agreed. Most of the people capturing video will find 128gb storage unusable on iPhone especially Apple is touting its camera capability.
...or why both MacBook models, especially the Pro still has a 720p webcam in the year 2020?
