It’s a bit suspicious that it happens a second time in a row and both times with products which are just a chip upgrade from the previous gen. And these videos don’t get taken down. Something is off…

Because these are legit products headed to CIS countries. There’s nothing to take down since they belong to retailers. Apple is also compliant with these indirect sales to Russia. They know from their own sales data it makes no sense Belarus, Turkmenistan, etc. shot up 800%.

I'm guessing it will have at least 1 GPU core less than the MacBook Pro variants. This seems like a decent way of using the lower yield products.

I could be 100% wrong.

Spec for Spec, the M4 iPad Pro and M4 Macbook are 99% identical with the exception of the Macbook maxing out at 24GB of RAM.

I imagine they will still be identical.

Over here on my 2019 iPad Mini 5 and 2021 iPad 9 ...

Even though I love the rumor info on the new M5 speed increases, I'm also a little concerned with how Russia appears to be able to regularly breach Apple 's supply chain.
They are not. There is not manufacturing over there at all. Presumably some Chinese factory (assembled in China) is leaking, and that Russian guy just happens to know somebody.

Ugh as someone who bought the 256/512 spec M4 iPad Pro I feel like we royally got ****ed in terms of RAM and future performance durability in comparison to the 1TB/2TB M4 or the M5 in general

Agreed. This is my biggest complaint about the M4 iPad models. But it didnt make sense to pay double the price to “futureproof” it when you could just buy another one with all upgrades, not just RAM and storage upgrades.

Oddly enough, it appears as though the M4 models have 12GB RAM artificially limited to 8GB.

Isn’t this the same picture on the front as wifh the M4 models? Apple never does that right? Maybe this is just an AI generated video with the digit changed?

This may give us an idea for the M5 in Macs… maybe with the increase from 8GB of RAM in the M4 to 12GB in the M5, we may see the base M5 starting at 24GB of RAM, which would be sweet.

That 36% in GPU improvement is going to be really sweet for the base M5 Mac mini…

Give us a base 512GB of storage and we may say the Mac mini will be the best deal ever!

Yeah. I’ll stop dreaming.

So, in a nutshell, we can expect a 4 p-core and 6 e-core CPU, right? And how many GPU cores? That 36% graphics improvement seems quite bold.
