Ok, you can buy whenever you want . I would not buy an iPad Pro now knowing that the sucessor it's just 3 months away .I would rather wait 3 months with my Air 2 than buying an Pro 12.9 or 9.7 right now
That is clearly your choice. You have made repeated references to the rumor that the iPad will be updated in March to 6GB. Do you have a link to that rumor?

I'm holding out for the pro2 12.9 but not everyone is in the same shoes.

And if someone can snag a pro 9.7 or 12.9 at significant savings, that's not a bad move by any means.

Where is it listed as $200 off? I know that it's $100-150, but not seeing anywhere it being $200 off.

That being said, I would and did buy an iPad mini 4.

I just bought the mini 4 32gb gold for $299 @ bestbuy maybe not the seasons best price but I thought it was fair $100 off

Of course you'd rather wait because you already have a fantastic iPad. There's barely a reason to upgrade to the iPad Pro from the iPad Air 2 anyway.

But some people are either getting their first iPad or upgrading from a really old one, and would gladly take an iPad now even when a new one is probably (but still not guaranteed) coming out in a few months, especially to save $100+.

we all here are kind of ipad "snobs". I bought an ipad air 2 at best buy for $275 on black friday. Some of my friends were curious why i would spend that much for a tablet when walmart sends daily emails with $-50 deals on tablets every day. I have to explain that the difference between an ipad and a sub 50 dollar android tablet is like night and day. Some care, most don't and want the cheapest thing they can get.

Bought an iPad Pro 12.9 about one month ago for $100 off. It's so amazing. I can't even think of anything else I'd want in an iPad. Fast, powerful, sounds great, looks great, and I don't body-shame my tech, so it's already thin enough. It's like with the Apple Watch. I got the first one and then they started selling the second model and it had absolutely nothing I wanted.

I got mine at Best Buy last week for $100 off. Now deciding on a Pencil or not!

I got the Apple Pencil just to doodle I don't use it that often but I think it's worth it especially if you plan on taking notes are use it a couple times a month and I've had it since December last year

I have to support those cheap tablets at my job! Can I scream here?

Are you a store or a business?

If the latter, petition to set a standards list and get the management to sign off on it. Then you won't get roughshod when asked to support everything under the sun. :D

You sound like a small shop or one where the IT management is weak...good luck.

I have already registered my displeasure, several of the cheap tablets are dying ( loose USB charging connectors). I have advised Kindle Fires, they cost just a bit more but will get the job done without driving me crazy.

My mother has iPad 4 (2013). So i just got her the 32gb iPad Pro 12.9 target $650 plus target red card. $653 total including taxes

She absolutely loved it today. Speakers are great for her. Big tablet.

Me personally. I am returning the iPad Pro 9.7 128gb I got for $513 from sams club sale (plus 5% chase visa freedom). I let the kids use both iPad Air 2 64gb one cellular and one wifi.

I am likely gonna to wait for a sale on iPad Pro 2 a few months after it's released in 2017.

Looks like the sale partly ended.

Still $100 off for iPad Pros (not $150 anymore), no more $100 off the Air 2's, which is unfortunate, I was thinking of picking one up....oh well I'll wait for the next sale.

Purchased the 9.7" Pro with 128GB storage for $495 Christmas Eve from Target, very happy with this upgrade.

I know this has been discussed many times, but they should've put 4gb RAM in the 9.7" model. Maybe 4gb and 6gb for the 2017 respective models?

Meh. I don't have a problem with the 9.7".

There are so many good deals this year, I couldn't resist the 128 GB 9.7"

I had three people I was buying for, all wanted the iPad Pro 9.7. Found the deal and Best Buy matched the price. I could only afford to get them the 32 version, since I was buying three. I know that sounds terrible, that I didn't get the 128, but would not have been able to get three. If they don't like them, they can return them. It was a good deal.

Did they express dissatisfaction?

My sisters were thrilled. My brother I think wasn't happy. He wanted 128 and wifi/cellular version and space grey. I told him he could return it and pay the difference for the one he wants. I told my sisters if they were disappointed and just not telling me, they could do the same.

Why they didn't make the entry level Pro 64GB is beyond me. I would have bought that, but for $100 more I was going to get the 128GB just to be safe.

So they can upsell customers to the 128GB model for an extra $100. :p
Exactly.

I guess the bright side of it is that for an extra $100 we get 4x the storage. That's better than in the past when it was only 2x. #shrug

I need to find an iPad Mini 4 or Air 2 for $250-$300 range tops. That's already stretching my budget thin as well.

I'm selling my Air 1 if interested. You might check Swappa for iPads if you are wanting an Air 2.

No thanks, good luck selling the Air 1. I saw some Air 2s, but they're a little more than what I want to pay. I am looking to get a full 1 year warranty brand new if possible.
