I have the first gen and it's not. I see the latest gen does. It says M4 iPad, though, so I'm not sure if it would work with my gen 3.The 11" iPad Pro Magic Keyboard's touchpad is haptic.

I think iPads in general are great for content consumption, but aside from that you have to have a very specific use case to justify it. There are a lot of people, myself included, who can get by with an iPad in place of a laptop. That's part of why I went for the 13" iPad Air. I use it primarily for content and then light productivity after that. Mainly marking up PDF's and email. I just don't have much need for a full laptop experience. My wife is the opposite. Her work relies on a lot of things that an iPad just doesn't do well, so a MacBook Air works better for her. She does have an iPad mini 7 for content consumption that she enjoys while laying in bed.Ok, I’m even less interested in iPad’s than I was before 😂
I’ve had a few - today I have a mini 6 for scrolling mostly, and the 5 as a backup, but mostly used as a meditation-timer.
I was pondering about that before I bought my 2024 MBA, and came to the conclusion that I need the 2nd Mac a lot more than iPad’s. I would’ve loved an even smaller MBA, but Apple don’t do them anymore, so 13’6 have to do.
But I’ll skip iPad mini 7 - see how interested I am when 8 arrives?
Marketing..lol if they became less and less useful why did you keep buying them?
It may not be a completely smooth as the full 120 Hz, but it would be easier to implement since it will be fixed at 90 Hz, probably well within the ability of the current LCD panels.I guess that giving the iPad Air the full 120 Hz "pro-motion" would make it too much like the iPad Pro models. I wonder if a 90 Hz refresh rate would be as satisfyingly smooth scrolling like the 120 Hz rate is?
None of the home products will (HomePod and Apple TV).After these rumored products arrive, will all of Apple’s devices be able to run AI?
Minus watch.
Hell, I guess you're talking this cuz it's we're talking abt the M chip-equipped iPad, not iPadOS as a whole.Until something drastic changes with iPadOS, it's getting really hard to get excited by new iPads

Oh Gurman...However, unlike the new MacBook Air, he said the new iPad models "probably won't come in the next few days."
I purchased the iPhone 16e on Feb28 before the tariff-war kicked in. Was planning for the new iPad, had already added it to the Apple bag. Then, as I went to place the order on the 13th, I thought to check CBC first and saw that the anti-tariffs had begun that day. So, bye-bye new iPad.Should have released them earlier as tariffs and opposing tariffs might take quite a chunk out of sales ;(
