Could they have even thought up a more stupid name than unobtainium?

It's not even really possible to "discover" new elements anyways. Best we can do is to artificially create them in a lab for fractions of a second.

Just like an iPhone with all the specs quoted by the OP.

I'm going to say the source is pretty unreliable.
Just from the GPS comment.
The current iPhone (and the 3GS, and the 3G) all have "real" GPS chips in them.

Hi Definition Audio?

Why the rolls eyes?
Its already something that some phones can do, and some networks support.

A few features of iPhone 5:

Thinner! With shiny glass back piece - 9.3 mm thick. - I don't think it will get thinner???

Face Recognition Security - Uhm This could be another security issue

Face Time (Video Chat) access on 3G AND 4G (available currently but only on 3G) - I guess for some, as I do not even use it on WiFi?

Custom SMS tones - This would be nice, however they kinda added this to 4.2 already?

Custom E-mail alerts with ability to assign different tones to each email address - again would be nice?

A new, sleeker body design. - If it gets much thinner, it could be an issue for some, however I like the current model iP4

OLED screen - seriously and replace the really nice Retina display - I Really HOPE NOT!

Scratch proof and shatter proof screen - Some will still find a way to scratch it or smash them, some folks are just rough on their gear.

Wireless sync with iTunes - Yay or Nay, doesn't matter to me, but I am sure it would to a whole bunch of peeps

32G (basic) and 64G of memory. You're sure to never run out. - I personally have 32 GB and more than enough for me, but I can see how some would want 64GB with the LACK of SD card Slot

Extended battery life = 14 hours talk time on 3G and 7 hours on 4G. Standby 600 hours. - Just not sure how much more they will really get out of a battery with making the phone smaller, remember the smaller the case, the less space there will be for a battery.

Hi Definition audio - not 100% sure what this would do on a portable device, but some of my lack of knowledge on this point could be why I will not comment.

Messaging indicator light - I guess this would be a big win for X BB users

True GPS built in - How much more can we stick in a phone the size of a wallet and expect it to perfom that much better.

I just made my own comments, just from what I see in the area of portable phones, however it will be interesting to see what Apple does, they usually never dissapoint most of us :D

Personally I hope we never see the LED indicator come to the iPhone. I was very happy to see it go when I ditched my Blackberry.

* Thinner! With shiny glass back piece - 9.3 mm thick. Isn't the phone already 9.3mm?

* Face Recognition Security that would be....interesting

* Face Time (Video Chat) access on 3G AND 4G (available currently but only on 3G) in my understanding facetime is not currently available on 3G. Has something changed?

* Custom SMS tones / * Custom E-mail alerts with ability to assign different tones to each email address ooooohhhh....the shiny...not sure why we would need new hardware for this.

* A new, sleeker body design. sleeker AND thinner? Oh mama....

* OLED screen. again, would be interesting

* Scratch proof and shatter proof screen with your other predictions? Seems like Homer Simpson tried to build a car like this once...

* Wireless sync with iTunes nice

* 32G (basic) and 64G of memory. You're sure to never run out. I love you people that think 16/32/64 GB is enough. My music alone is topping out at around 90GB. Maybe you'll never run out, there's no such thing as too much drive space.

* Extended battery life = 14 hours talk time on 3G and 7 hours on 4G. Standby 600 hours. who doesn't like more battery life?

* Hi Definition audio. maybe 3D audio!!! no, but I kid, Apple devices aren't know for their great sound.

* Messaging indicator light. thanks, but no....

* True GPS built in. you mean besides the GPS chip inside of it that also uses Assisted GPS? Color me confused, but I don't see how that will really anything

in the article it also talks about info that macrumors has already rote about regarding Verizon and the iPhone and ATT and there upcoming 4G network and also mentions that the iPhones 5 will carry a dual core processor but doesn't mention anything further

Well, in all fairness The Core came up with it first.
