I'd laugh if it's actually 3D and all of you will be calling it revolutionary, great, amazing and magical.

gigidey Apple could just have the wallpaper in the background with the icons hovering, in the "middle." Or, they could be smarter and have the icons hovering an inch above the screen, and when you hand comes near the screen, the icons can go back to the "middle" with an warp effect.

It doesn't enhance the user experience and will estrange a large share of users. For those reasons alone, Apple would never touch it.

Personally believe it will be 4D and will allow users to have a total control over the fourth dimension (which is time). They will call it the iphone 4[D].

3D is so 2010 anyways...

Good, we can go back in time and prevent this thread from being created.

why would anyone want 3D on a phone. companies need to stop just shoving every last piece of tech into a device and start building things that make sense, guess this is what happens when you let marketing departments run development. they just look for the big buzz words and try to make it fit into something not ever thinking ig picture, just how many headlines they can get or how many extra lines of features they can get on a spec sheet somewhere, completely disregarding how useful or necessary that feature is

face time in 3D

lol
