Looks pretty good turned off as you cannot see the (potentially large) bezel... apple please surprise us by making the bezel really really thin!

I'm a bit of a photography buff, so I tried out the Nokia 1020 last summer for five days before returning it.

The thing that struck me was it's very round edges. Those edges made it very difficult to grip in the hand—especially when turning the phone landscape for photos. I dropped it a few times.

I'm excited to finally upgrade my 4S, but am worried about the iPhone 6's overall grip???

The sharp edges on the iPhone 5/5S are great I can set my phone on its end and take video or pictures. iOS8 even has a timer built into the camera, but I won't be able to stand the phone on its edge, if these rumors end up being true.

Can't tell if being sarcastic ... but every iPhone I remember from the 3G has had visible screws. For what it's worth the 5C feels a lot better built than the cheap plastic of the 3G/3GS models.

I mean Apple, the big Apple the saviour to so many people or whatever god form you wish to put apple in, haven't come up with an alternative to hiding those screws in sooooooo many years.

From what I can see, there are two screws, each side of the Lightning connector. Have you ever looked at the bottom of an iPhone properly before?

Help me out a bit here, what else am I missing?

Again when did I say there's never been an iPhone with screws

I love this design as well. Great combination of Retro and Modern styling. Can't wait to see it with different color combinations and any final coatings or anodize. I personally am super intrigued to see what the camera capability offers, especially with that slightly protruding lens.

Why don't you show the back?

Looking at their Instagram account, I hope the back ends up looking like this:

But the more credible-seeming leaked photos seem to suggest a clunky, protruding camera and less gracefully camouflaged joints than those seen here.

This has to be...

...a fake or Jony Ive banged his head really hard. The images themselves are questionable. The thick radii band a concern if you look at the main image showing the screen/home button and the lower left corner. There's a serious gap between the radii band and the bezel/screen. This has got to be fake all in the same image thats been floating around for months (as a few have said already).

It's absolutely atrocious design. All this nonesense about this iphone release is boring my butt off. I really hope that this is not what it looks like.

So many "it's beautiful" for sure it is but that battery if true means the battery issues will still be a common thing.

Seems people prefer design over many other things. This will sell like hot cakes.

Guess they need to get people to upgrade next year with the batter battery, I'll only consider 5.5" if that is even happening.

Believe it or not, "some people" don't have battery issues.

It's the same casing as all their other leaks. They've just combined their screen with the case they've had all along.

All all this fine detail "Sherlock homes style" really a waste of time..?

Why bother looking for clues, if the average user can't tell the difference anyway, since the eye can't render pixels that high.

It's sharp...ya, but there must be a limit to what the human eye can recognize right, while at the same time not giving you eye-strain, headaches etc...

I'm all best, that's out there, but how far can we go before we get to a point, its no longer relevant to anyone ? and how much of it is just pure marketing hype by Apple to say "wow, a high resolution phone... everyone will jump on-board with this"

I'm hoping that's the back- It's sexy!

Except for the original iPhone...

Yes, I mis-worded my post. I mean't to say it would be a radical change.

Is it just me, or does that metallic material look kinda cheap and plasticky? Like the spray painted "metal" on Dell laptops as opposed to the metal on a MBP.

I'm not sure how I feel about the word 'radii'.

I know how I feel. If he's going to use Latin grammar properly, it should be "radibus" because it should be ablative.

It's important to note that Feld and Volk's images still depict unfinished iPhone 6 parts that are in rough condition, and Apple's completed device will undoubtedly look even more polished.

can we get this part of the article in big shiny red letters? Because its obvious by the comments that most idiots on here don't even read, they just look at the pictures and make obtuse comments about them..

Seriously people.
This is a Frankenstein phone. A bunch of leaked parts assembled together to get a rough idea of the final product.. Yes that is the same back casing that Sonny posted, with the broken off plastic parts.

Stop getting worked up over the "quality", or the "colors"..

/rant.
