This is a Frankenstein phone. A bunch of leaked parts assembled together to get a rough idea of the final product.. Yes that is the same back casing that Sonny posted, with the broken off plastic parts.

Stop getting worked up over the "quality", or the "colors"..

Sorry mate, for the most part, as guilty as I am, we're Apple afficoinado's therefore anything being pegged to a near final release will get this sort of reaction be it stupid. :rolleyes:
 
Oh, good. I was getting tired of the convenience of being able to prop my current iPhone up on its flat edges. Now we get round edges!
 
Are those bands functional (i.e. does it help reception)? Isn't there any way to do it without breaking up the uniformity of the backend.
 
Got to say I much prefer the completely black glass front with the silver back plate.
I always felt the combination of White and silver looked cheap and tacky.
I'll definitely opt for the silver version if it remains the same as the latest pics.
 
Not going to read the whole thread but has anyone else notice how they seem to have two distinct mock ups? One image, a kind of three quarter view, shows what looks like a black band, the others more like white or silver.
 
It's not a black band. It's the bashed up and broken backplate from previous leaks. So the 'black' is actually 'nothing, empty, a hole, broken'. Not there.
 
One little hole for the microphone. That better be a damn good microphone. Crap outgoing call quality is an absolute dealbreaker for me, no exceptions. I look forward to objective call quality testing but I can't seem to find any web sites that test phones that aren't probable shillsite/webzines.

It makes them easy to service, I suppose. Never really found them that obnoxious, though you may think differently (pun shamefully intended). Amazed that's your biggest complaint, though ... The competitors have a sea of plastic products and you take offence to two screws? :confused:
