lets hope Apple uses this
TIMG, man, TIMG!
It's... okay... a unibody metal iPhone would be nice, but Apple would never give a battery cover.
And the current iPhone already has true GPS and a flush headphone jack...
I saw this on Gizmodo. The best was the comment "why would i want it to look like a macbook pro, i would just buy a macbook pro"
Sigh, the internets.
Anyway it's pretty cools. I'd love to see a unibody aluminum iPhone to fall in line with everything else.
Multiple colors would be cool to like the iPod Nano etc.
By the way, if it doesnt have a Matte option, i'm not buying it.. IM NOT!!!
I Like it. But the size of the IMG made my eyes hurt.
Is that a game & watch? (was looking at the image-back)
Clearly a fantasy, but, a nice-looking one. I love the video camera on the front which would be useful for video conferencing from the iPhone. Now THAT would make the iPhone ultra cool!
Looks like it would be very uncomfortable to hold though
True GPS? uhm aGPS is true + cell triangulation for quicker lock-on...right?
2 speakers? No more posts on the broken speaker
Aluminum body? RF interference
Features, yes. Looks, no.
I like how it looks but the home button is a bit too square and it's a bit too blockish for me but still cool design.
i was thinking the same thing, i hope they keep the general shape of the phone because i think its great the way it is.
I want it, anything besides plastic that cracks.
The design is really cool looking though.
Looks too generic, like a random HTC phone.
It's pretty ugly to say the least. Looks a little too "zune-ish"
Agreed. Put a keyboard on it and it looks exactly like some Windows-mobile phone my coworker had 2 years ago.
That's probably not what Apple will be aiming for.
IMO it looks like dog poo.
one person uses photoshop and everyone goes crazy
we all know there will be a new phone this summer
we all know that it wont look like that
we all know apple won't EVER use a replaceable battery
these forum sites get worse and worse every day
Agreed. I'm sure Apple will implement their new battery technology they have in the 17" MacBook Pro into the new iPhone model, which will give more battery life, something we all would love.
The OP stated that it was a concept photo. There's no need to be so nasty about it. Like you said these forums get worse and worse every day.
It even has a serial number on the back.
Its good to talk. Welcome to Macrumors.
Would you upgrade your 3g for one of the new iPhone, seeing as it doesn't have quad core processors it basicly has the same features as the 3g video can be upgraded on your 3g via update.
It looks pretty slick and futuristic.
But there's barley any room for a battery!
Can you explain to me why having a removable battery isn't a good idea?
I know Apple won't do it, but I think it is a great idea. Improving battery life AND giving me the option to carry around one or two extras 'just in case' is awesome.
