I like the colors. I really like the look of the copper colored iPhone. But that white bezel is an absolute deal breaker. I will go with all black to avoid that white front. The white phones have never bothered me before, but on this phone the white looks like protective packaging that is sill stuck to it. NOPE.

I wouldn't believe these mock ups as being real at all, because the rumours have constantly contradicted themselves every week this year... don't believe it till I see it.
And the white one is nice, much better then the horrid shiny black one.

Won't be a hard decision for me. 7s all the way. I'm sorry but that cut out at the top of the 8 is absolutely horrid white black blush gold it doesn't matter its freaking ugly. IMHO

I generally put a leather skin on the back of my device for sit and grip (Vaja).
Still, the white front is hideous. "Copper" or Black with a black front.
It's gonna come down to price for me.

I agree the all black bezel is the most uniform looking. But a white bezel is not completely offputting to me either. I like having options and gives me the opportunity to have more choices on preorder day.

As he says in the video, these are models/mock-ups. They're not official Apple hardware by any stretch.

We won't know what the color choices/combos will be for sure until next month.

I'm fully aware they are not real products, simply stating they need to drop the white front if that is the iPhone 8 design as it looks horrendous. The white on the 7S/7S+ however looks fine.

I really don't think that we're going to see the ugly white bezel model and we've gotten some reports that Apple will drop it entirely. The white bezel model highlights the top cutout too much and doesn't seem like something that Apple would do.

It wouldn't surprise me if Apple would embrace the notch. Look at the glyph in the HomePod firmware:

Apple officially depict the iPhone 8 like this, so there is a good chance that the white front might become reality. Yes, it looks ugly when the screen is off, but imagine the screen on with the white interface that we have in iOS. It might blend in even nicer than with a black front.

If they black out the interface next to the notch, the front will obviously need to be black.

I am typically all for black iPhones, but if the silver phone has a black front, I'd consider it.

For me too. I love the light grey back and steel frame. It reminds me of the original iPhone.

Personally I believe that they will embrace the notch, or at least there will be a white fascia as an option. The reason I think that is because this would make the new iPhone instantly recognisable.

Till now the iPhone has been quite distinctive, it’s shape and the single round home button meaning you can immediately tell an iPhone laying on a table.

If the notch is just blended in to the top of the phone, it will be an anonymous looking slab, nothing that immediately says “iPhone”.

With a visible notch it will look like no other phone available. The glyph confirms this to my mind.

Obviously it’s highly possible I’m totally wrong and I’m perfectly happy to accept that if it’s the case

Just my tuppence worth!
