. I have always loved the iPhone 5, especially paired with Black/Slate and iOS 6. That was the most beautiful iPhone I had ever seen
I 100% agree. I am using the black iPhone SE and I really like it, but I really miss the look and feel of iOS 6. Dont get me wrong, I really like iOS10 features, but there is just something about the icons and the animations. Hands down my favorite phone design of all time.

Update I got the SE space gray 64gb unlocked

That is the one I got and I love it. Only difference was mine was locked to t mobile but after 40 days I got it unlocked for the increased resale value for later on when I sell it.

If they do update it, I kinda wish a bigger screen or different design. The 5/5s design is great and all, but four generations of the same-looking design is pushing it way too far. My only issues with the 5 design is the boxy nature. Helps for grip but the 6/7 design don't dig into your palms.

If no real update this year, maybe the best they will do is offer a storage bump or add a better selfie cam. Take out the 16gb and make the 64gb the $399 one and a 128gb for the $499 one. Maybe a different color option too like the rumored red for the newer iPhone. Or that space blue that was rendered last year. I would still go for the same ol' space gray though.

Why bigger? I don't want it bigger because 4" is just the sweet spot. If you are referring to the design, yeah I wouldn't mind seeing it on the larger models.

Going from a 6 to an SE shortly before the September press conference, I can safely say that I don't want a phone much bigger than the SE ever again. For what I use my phone for (music, light texting, a few photos & Uber), I don't do anything that a bigger screen enhances. At this point, I'm sending more and more texts via my Watch than my SE at this point (the vast majority of it is still done on my Mac though). Even as someone that can comfortably palm a basketball, I found the 6 to be just a little too large and awkward to hold one handed.

Judging for the sales and customer satisfaction with the SE, I think it's safe to say that a 4 inch phone will be made again at some undefined point in the future. The only thing I'd want in an SE 2 is an iPhone 7 quality screen. The Duel Domain pixels, polarizer & P3 color reproduction really does make a difference. If they can engineer that in a 4 inch phone that has the same battery life as the SE in my pocket, I'd be running to the Apple Store right now for it.

The SE keynote had management talking about how popular the 4in model is around the world, especially for users new to iphone.

iPad mini
iPad
iPad Pro

They did it for the iPad, why can't they give it to us for the iPhone?

Spring 2017 Release:

iPhone 7s "Mini" (update of the 5 SE)
iPhone 7s
iPhone 7s Plus

Everyone would be happy with this.

What about next year 2018
You guys think a new SE is coming out ?

I don't. There's been very few rumors at all, actually there's only been one rumor and it's already been debunked. I think the iPhone SE was a one time device that was brought back for India's market and as an entry-level iPhone for those who wanted a smaller form factor without The latest capabilities. If it does debut, I imagine it would be early spring 2018.
