Depending on how you plan to keep your phone, the updates may eat up space fairly quick so I think that would be too small.
The run times are surprisingly close to the iPhone 11, even though the iPhone 11 has a battery that’s upwards of twice (1.7x) as big 🤷♂️
128GB white. Excited to have white with black bezels. I have always ordered black/space gray in the past because I didn’t like the white bezels. Finally saying good riddance to my 6S. I love this phone but battery life is abysmal in iOS 13.
Congrats on your upcoming addition. Just a though though... not criticizing per se... more of an observation... Anticipation is a terrible name for a child. It will be picked on mercilessly.
Future iOS versions and updates can eat up the 16 gb in short period of time. 10 years ago 16GB was pushing the limit for acceptable storage.
Though I'd rather see the 4" FF, this represents a great value and smack those mid-range Android devices.
On a separate note WTF is up with that Apple overview page for the SE... it's like the web designers and engineers said how much bling, animation and annoyance can we inflict on the user to show how cool we are... an analogy would be:
It violates so many basics of good UX principles that I stopped counting (red reference - used to work for a top design firm, that was Apple's first as well...)

It has exactly the same battery as the iPhone 8.
Why would you think they could fit a larger battery into the same body?

The iPhone SE (2nd edition) is really the iPhone 8S.

Will taking a screenshot (and doing hard reset) with the SE (2020) be the same way as with my 6s, as SE also has the HOME “button”?

It is not the right SE replacement and as a result, Apple will be losing money for its mistake.
It will be a bestseller and a huge financial success.
Let's talk again in 6-12 months.
You’re a good example of Apples target demographic for this phone. You still have the advantage of having touch ID, [which has completely matured over the years], and in a smaller form factor for an affordable price point that will serve you for at least five years if you want this phone too. Enjoy.
It’s literally the only negative talking point they could come up with. But the memo obviously went out, you see the complaint constantly.
My counter argument is that the run times are almost as good as the iPhone 11—even though the 11 has upwards of twice the battery capacity (1.7x).
iPhone 11: 17 hrs video playback, 10 hours streaming video. 3110 mAh battery.
iPhone SE: 13 hrs video playback, 8 hours streaming video. 1821 mAh battery.
Not gonna lie tempted to preorder a white SE2 to migrate from XR but I go back and forth
love my blue XR it’s just a bit unwieldy at times and I really liked my se1 still have it just wonder if it’s the right move or not hmm
the price is fantastic tho and I have a giftcard but may wanna use that on a flagship later this year
