I think we'll see a new one this summer. Not sure what new features, at the very least I think we'll see a 32GB iPhone.

yeaaaa, we know iphone nano is ready here for sales. and one of my friends is waiting here this summer~

Yes, there are few gripes I have with the current iPhone 3G. Colors would be nice, and turnbyturn GPS would be even nicer. Copy/Paste and VoiceDial without App Store apps would be great also.

I expect an update in June, but not the huge leap in capabilities that some predict. In other words, no iPhone HD. Instead, I expect 32 GB or maybe even 64 GB models, bump in battery life, faster processor, something like that. I also expect Firmware 3.0 with some nice new features.

Apple probably has a iPhone HD prototype, but given the state of the economy, which most certainly won't be "all better" by this summer, I can't see them putting out a premium-price phone. Terrible timing. They will shelve it for another year. The existing iPhone already has a great screen.

I also don't see any "special deals" for existing iPhone customers that are still in contract. Why would they do that? I think many here forget sometimes that AT&T and Apple are in this business to make money. Remember the huge hit AT&T told their shareholders they'd take on iPhone 3G subsidies? Yeah, they want that money back through data costs. They are not just going to reset the subsidy all over again.

I would be completely satisfied with an upgrade with your list of features, maybe throw some more RAM in there to boot....I like RAM. :D

Imagine what all the iphone will have by the time LTE networks are up and running on a mass scale. I can only dream. :)

Same thing as in year's past: announcement at WWDC, on sale late June/early July.

As for features, one of the things I'm really holding out for is a better camera. I'd love to make the iPhone my sole camera. With a flash and a few more megapixels, I'd be happy.

The new iPhoto release with Places seems to support my wants!
