Here's a new one. CNN has an article aout people being freaked out by the iPhone's weird camera holes.

"users say it is triggering their trypophobia -- an intense, irrational fear of small holes and clusters of circles and bumps, such as those in a honeycomb, lotus flower or bubble bath."

I know the iPhone 11's new design is pretty ugly, but now it is actually causing medical problems for some. LOL :D

I love the quote from the BBC article:

"Dr Cole and Prof Wilkins reported testimonies from some people who vomited and others who said they could not go to work for several days."

I can't imagine an employee calling in sick for weeks due to being traumatized by the holes in pancakes. I'd just fire the person and then get sued by woke snowflakes or the like I'm sure. What a world.

Folks like you are the reason we have such strict privacy laws (HIPPA)...so strict in fact that the lack of ability to share legitimate health information is likely making health outcomes worse for everyone.

What a world indeed.

It is "HIPAA" and I'm well aware of the health industry as a whole. I love the assumptions people make about others simply based on internet forum posts. Unpopular opinion = scum of the earth and terrible person. Agreed, what a world.

LOL no one called you the scum of the earth or a terrible person. And you’re calling other people snowflakes?

You said you’d fire people over legitimate health issues correct? Well, that’s precisely why we have health privacy laws. What assumptions did I make?

I dunno why people here are getting so worked up about this. Phobias are irrational fears you can't control, it's not like they're just making it up. It's certainly not an attack on Apple, sheesh.

Why do you have such a strong opinion on a topic that you clearly know nothing about? Maybe you should take a few minutes to look up phobias + their symptoms before making bizarre rant posts like these.

I was making a general statement and not calling anyone here snowflakes. You specifically said "people like me."

My comment was perhaps too snarky / sarcastic. There was a photo of a pancake in the BBC article and it really made me laugh out loud. There are absolutely legitimate mental / psychological illnesses. I come / go in peace.

You know nothing about me or what I do / breadth of my knowledge, respectfully. As I said to the other person, perhaps my comment was too snarky.

Are you a lawyer? You do sound (write...) like one.

Who exactly is being freaked out by the new camera holes? Who is CNN talking about?
No one has yet to be photographed by one no less using one of these phones. Except for beta testers of course.
So who is CNN talking about, the beta testers? Were they freaked out by this stuff?
