This is pretty sad..all this love for idiotic tv no less, and now some real lame dopey ipod game.
Is this what it is...mindless consumers of whatever crap is put in front of their field of vision?
There was a band back in the 80's who made the observation that all one had to do was vomit on a piece of vinyl and it'll sell millions.

Bring back Gil Amelio. NOW!

WOW I guess no one can have guilty pleasures anymore.

It's so nice to connect with all of you LOST fans.
LOST rules!

But I wont be getting the game. It could be about any TV series.

It gets even worse. Watch the preview. :(
I thought "Great, games on the iPod. Perhaps something to rival the DS or GBA". No. These efforts look just like mobile phone games that I'd rather avoid. Looks like they've stolen the overworld gameplay from Golden Sun too...

I am a LOST fan--the last few episodes have been especially fun. But there's something pretty funny to me about making a mobile game. I laughed when I saw "Find Fruit." Does it have "Run From Boar," "Mess With the Corner Of Your Tarp," "Discover A New Place Just An Hour From Where You've Lived For a Month," and "Completely Forget About The Monsters Except When One Is Chasing You"? :)

PS, I wonder if this game will run on that big "iPhone" they had on on the show a couple weeks ago, right down to the touchscreen and the Apple widgets?

stupid iPod.. stupid iPhone... HRMPH! delayed lepoard stupid...
/I'm bitter...
//stupid!

Agreed. Why was Gameloft S.A. making this game instead of somehow helping Apple finish Leopard?

Hello! Mobile phone games! iPod! iPhone! Hello!

Mobile phone games suck. I have "Space Invaders" for my Windows Mobile Phone - could it get any smaller (doesn't take up the whole screen)? More like "Space Fleas"...

You sound like a bunch of cultists. Of course you can't SEE that because.....well, you're cultists. :D

Watch the episode again and pause it right after Jacob throws Ben into the wall, the camera goes back across and you can seen him!!!!!! He's really there!!!!
Now I have to go back and watch it again!!!

Doesn't look that fun. Wake me up when Apple has Counter Strike for iPod :p

I definitely noticed that too, I rewinded it and watched it again just to make sure. My roomates thought I was crazy when I said "Did you guys see him??" I guess I have a good eye :p

For those who have given up on Lost all I can say is... suckas! If you know anything about the show's producers / writers you will know that everything in the show can and will be explained and they mentioned they will prove they always knew the ending because there is a clue in the show's pilot episode. The show is well thought out but doesn't cater to the American Idol I Don't Like To Think Too Much crowd.

Now with that said, Twin Peaks was the best show on TV but Lost is up there somewhere.

And for those who are complaining about 3 more seasons just remember... each season is a chapter in the book and is why they divided it up that way. From a concept point of view it all makes sense.

Chapter 1: Theme and Characters established
Chapter 2: The Hatch
Chapter 3: The Others
Chapter 4: Jacob (the producers have admitted this already)
Chapter 5: ???
Chapter 6: ???

huh, is that show still popular somewhere in the world?

it's completely lost (ahem) it's audience here.. if that game is available in the UK it won't sell much.

It used to be top 10 (usually), dropped a bit but it's still top 20 for the week in the USA.

It also does very well in the desirable demographics and is the most often tivo'd show. Last season also sold extremely well on DVD and I'll bet season 3 does as well.

And while there are three seasons planned, they will be shorter so it will be the same number of episodes as two full seasons. The second half of this season has been pretty excellent, the finale tomorrow probably has more buzz than anything else on TV this spring.

I totally missed that.

Lost is no Battlestar Galactica, but it's original and interesting and--like BSG--seems to be actually heading toward an interesting and long-planned finale. (Twin Peaks was great too, but a lot of that one was clearly made up as they went.)

It's also interesting how Lost reveals the big picture at such an even (and yes, gradual) pace. Constant small revelations with occasional "medium" ones (that seem big at first except they really don't explain that much)--all adding pieces to the puzzle gradually. It's a unique change from most shows where you get BIG, clear revelations at the end of every season, and in between they just work with what was established at the last big event. Lost's revelation graph is more of a straight line than the usual stair-steps.

And Lost is totally worth making fun of too :p The statue with the 4 toes made me spit my drink.

I have to admit, I really dislike the show when it appears like they're throwing darts at a dartboard to decide what happens next.

On the other hand, when they string together plot threads across several episodes it works well. I really enjoyed the episode about the couple looking for the diamonds (and not just because she was stunning), as the scene where the guy stumbles out of the toilet after hiding the diamonds had been in an episode months before - it shows they are putting some thought into longer plotlines...

..either that, or someone mused "hey, why DID that guy stumble out of the toilet? Maybe he was hiding diamonds... let's make a story out of it!" :p

You sound like a bunch of cultists. Of course you can't SEE that because.....well, you're cultists. :D

Well, I guess you now apart of the cult. You are here right? Brain washed, can't get enough, ect. Have fun while it lasts, probably only till the end of the week. Then we resume meetings next season. See you then.

Lost is top notch entertainment. The acting is very good and so is the plot and production. It's not just television, its well crafted drama. I think they edit on macs too! The video game is... just a video game.

I assume all the game does is beep every 108 minutes and you have to dial in the numbers 4 8 15 16 23 42 and click the center button.

Fun for a few days, I guess.

I'm a big fan of LOST and I have this same game on my Verizon phone and IT SUCKS!

They try to cram in Season 1 & 2 into what was a 35-45 minute game. Yes I played through it and finished the game, and it just says "To be continued..." in the end.

It leaves you wondering why you bought the game in the first place. Plus the obstacles they make you do in the game are extremely lame. As you see in the screen cap in this thread, the objective of that 'mission' is to find fruit. How challenging...

I highly recommend NOT to purchase this game.
