New iPod Touch and iPod Nano Begin Shipping, Photos and Benchmarks Posted

So is there a new iTunes update for the iPods out yet? I'm so hoping we are getting the new iTunes tonight!
 
I hear its more a feature than a problem...instead of looking through rose color glasses , apple prefers a beautiful shade of purple!

Have you noticed that the earpods box is different form the ones sold separately?. You can't see the remote. Does anyone knows if the earpods included with new iPods have remote control?. I think they should have.

AT&T said they would unlock my iPhone this month but depending on what the rates are here, I might stick with this combo honestly. My old jobs required me to take and make a million cell phone calls a day but not anymore.

I believe they have the remote but not the mic.

Might be wrong.
 
you'd be better off getting an iPhone 4s on ebay for $30 more. you'd get the same performance, a better camera, plus 3G/4G capability.
the only drawbacks are a thicker device and a smaller screen, which some prefer anyway.

No remote and mic at all, check out the Apple-Store:
iPhone 5: ships with "Apple EarPods with Remote and Mic"
iPod Touch: ships with "Apple EarPods"

I wonder when the EarPods without Remote and Mic will be available separately :confused:
 
So the Nexus 7 starts at $100 cheaper, but yet has a far faster quad core CPU, a better GPU, and has double the RAM. Way to go Apple. As usual all they can manage to do is release outdated junk... Also, for all the people who will start saying how a quad CPU is not needed etc, think about a few years down the road...

Haha. Seriously, Geekbench scores are CPU heavy so it's not surprising. The iPad 3 has to drive 4 times the number of pixels, so it really shines in its graphics performance:

Doesn't matter. The UI is more efficient. The Apple product DOESN'T NEED THE EXTRA SPECS TO BE FASTER. Google has to bloat the specs to run an inferior, less efficient operating system.

wait till iPad mini. there is no comparison for iPod touch in android world

also if you wait and look around; during thanksgiving christmas time it will be easily $50 - remember all the store promotion with $50 gift card from them.

also, nexus 7 Google is losing money. no comparison.
