Okay my last post was about right. The only thing is, they didn't drop the 8GB, but instead kept it for a cheaper model. Lucky, eh? I think I'll pick up a 32GB anyhow.
 
I'm expecting a 256 GB iPod Touch with GPS, speakers, video camera, and 3x the battery life for $199 tomorrow.
In other words you expected a much thicker iPod Touch, and you should know Apple better than that. Inside their reality distortion field, the #1 "feature" that overrides everything else is that the product is thin. If it's an update of an existing product, the new generation must always be thinner than the last. They would rather shorten battery life or remove a feature than make the product thicker.

I'm not sure how this came to be... maybe they have a focus group that consists of Calista Flockhart, Paris Hilton, Kiera Knightley and DJ Qualls. :confused:
