I saw the trailer back in July. Looks like they added a little more footage since then. Yes, the first suit looks clunky, but that's the point. It was made on the fly. He's always improving and changing the suits.

😛 You obviously have never witnessed Superman as he truly was in the beginning.

That's why I said "usually"! I'd love to see a movie about "Super Dick" though :3

Having seen the trailer, I think RDJ does a great job, and I like the absense of abundant CGI. I may see it in theatres, but it's probably Marvel's last chance with me (I skipped FF and FF2, so they didn't lose strikes there).

I have #1 through 150, plus assorted Tales Of Suspense, etc. I stopped collecting comics when I was 18. I'm 37 now. I liked Iron Man as a kid. Mostly because he was an Avenger.

Thanks, I really was just curious as to how many had actually read the comic books. I was able to buy Iron Man, Fantastic Four, and Submariner for 10¢ per copy. (Any guesses on when Submariner will get the movie treatment?) Difficult to say which was my favorite.

I'll say the movie looks okay, and I think Robert Downey is a good choice for Tony Stark.

On the other hand, I hope it doesn't turn out to be too silly, like Fantastic Four.
