New iTunes? [Merged] *Now Available in Software Update*

Considering the fact it was announced and shown to us in September 12th, i'm hoping that this delay isn't true, but I suppose it's always possible.

EDIT: Nevermind, it's official.

I don't think Apple has announced any requirements but if I were a bettin' man I'd say Lion and Windows 7 would be prerequisites... that is if the Windows version even sees an update.

but they really needed till the end of November though when they debuted it in what looked like a rally late state back in June?

I wonder if coverflow will be going away? Doesn't look like it's going to be in iTunes 11. But could be under the view tab.

So... what is everybody thinking? 3rd week of November? If its the last week, Apple will look pretty pathetic. Probably planned for a release at last week's event, delayed till the last week of November? That would look bad bad bad.

yeah didnt think of that one might as well keep it open so we dont get a thread per day asking when its gonna get released lol. anyway im thinking the week of november 25-30 🙁

This makes sense!
I'm concerned that the win7 version might suck for a month or two at first, if they release it at all.

Who knows what Apple demo'd in June. Could have all been "simulated", which would have no relation to the state of the actual product at that time.
 
too bad its not only delayed a few weeks than I would at least be less annoyed.

just wait november 30 will come and they will say its not ready yet and we need a little bit longer to work on it and its coming end of december.
