New Jailbreak Delay Reason

What other two jailbreaks? <---- Perfect English!!

Geohot demoed an untethered jailbreak and PosixNinja is said to have one.

PosixNinja at one point stated his JB was not the same exploit as the Comex (Safari) JB. I am not certain if the "Spirit" JB is using the Safari weakness or it is a different exploit.

I'm sure someone smarter than me knows.

if they release a unlock for 3.1.3 it could get patched by OS 4.0 and their goes a lot of hard work to find a unlock gone to....i cant say waste but a update that wasn't necessary

As far as I know, there are three exploits:

1) ChronicDev and p0sixninja have the same exploit, which they are currently sitting on.

2) Geohot has a similar but separate exploit not currently in development; I would be surprised if it is released before 4.0.

3) Comex is developing his "Spirit" jailbreak, which is (I think) based on the recently-published Safari exploit but will not be a browser-based jailbreak. He is working with members of both the Dev-Team and ChronicDev.

It is my guess that Spirit will be released within the next month, but that both of the other exploits will be held until 4.0.

Cool, I spent about a week in Thessaloniki when I was there. Sadly, no, I do not have any demotic beyond a few touristy phrases picked up while I was in Greek. I can ask for the WC or eggs, that sort of thing. I have parsed out a couple of poems of Cavafy with heavy reliance an a dictionary...but those are, of course, in the Katharevousa.

MuscleNerd implied the Spirit JB will go public after the 3G iPads are shipped.
