New Mac Ads

Funny. Very funny. I love the part where the pc guy falls over.

 

.Mac gets a 1,000 Gigs (tera) a month so I doubt he will get in trouble.

 

The ad that's been linked here is so cute! (so is Justin Long.. rawr!)

Glad to see some advertising, but this does feel a little like asking someone to write viruses for OS X.

 

You think that's bad I saw Jeepers Creepers 2 (on HBO don't worry I wouldnt pay for that crap)....also with a real cute girl too...

 

I just saw the one about the wall street journal quote. These are great ads. And its nice to finally see ads like this.

 

John Hodgman, who played the "PC" in the virus ad, is a very funny guy. I love this first clip of his from the Daily Show.

 

'24' ad

There was a 3rd AD on Fox's '24' talking about the awards that the Mac has won over the PC.

The Mac praised Walt Mossburg, and the PC tried quoting a made-up review, alluding to the fact that PCs dont get awards.

Just wait... Apple stores across the nation are gonna be swamped... I'd bet that $101.00 valuation is gonna split again. Real soon!

It just was. Inside 24 is brought to us by Microsoft, but 24 is the first place I've seen the new Mac ads. I'm so confused.

 

that second one is genius. but i share the worries with the rest of the crowd about the tempting fate...

 

So THAT'S why there was virus FUD!

Now I see why all those FUD stories about how the Mac is vulnerable to hackers went around last weekend. It was a pre-emptive strike against this new Apple campaign! I bet you a buck there's a connection.

 

just wanted to be the first one to say that the mac book will be released tomorrow due to the new ads and marketing strategy. on another note, i have a virus, not a peecee one, or even a mac one, a virus! my throat is sore and my nose is runny and my head hurts.

 

Where on Fox? Prison Break or 24?

Oh, the worst part for me is that I never get to see the girl (she moves away). Jeepers Creepers (the part I saw) wasn't that bad IMO.

and i highly doubt that all these channels are prematurely releasing these commercials...over and over again...all over the networks...for millions of dollars. shahhh!
