figuring out that laptops get slimmer, faster and gain new capabilities is hardly rocket science

You might as well have predicted the sun would set in 3 weeks. Sorry but making a lucky guess on the obvious doesn't count. The whole relative working at apple thing is getting rather old too.
....my cousin is the graphics designer of everything you see on the iphone, i don't think i need to say much more. He is more than someone who just "works" at Apple
Name might have changed, or mac portable may have been the codename for it during development. He isn't doing his cousin any favours if this is all true though.
