Awesome deal for a great machine with a good keyboard and without that stupid TouchBar! It is sad though that for €1500 we only get 8GB of RAM in Europe while for $1500, you get 16GB of RAM in the US...

I am really tempted to sell my 2018 13" MBP to go lighter and to save some cash...

Curious to see the bench of the i7 vs. say the current MBP... anyone have an idea? Max'd out this could be a great cafe/travel development machine when I don't want to lug my MBP-16. And a sweet price/spec ratio finally

The configurable speeds are what I was thinking. I'll wait for some reviews. My 2013 MBP is working fine for now. Thanks for the replies.

I grabbed one. Base model. Replacing my old 2016 MacBook. Glad to see these specs at this price point. Ships in 2-4 business days.

Great to see Bluetooth 5.0.

Does anybody know why it appears to still have Wifi 5 and not Wifi 6? I though Wifi 6 was built-in on Intel 10th gen processors?
I thought it has WiFi 6 support but still required a dedicated PCIe card. Not that up on top of this spec, but that’s a fuzzy memory I have.

is it the first time intel i3 appear on any macbook at all?
also if the base model comes with 256 gb storage then the new mbp 14 base model would come with 512 gb storage?
i don't think mbp 14 would come with two thunderbolt low end line at all...

Did I make a mistake by ordering the Quad i5 processor upgrade ? Mine ships 6th - 15th April.

I want to use Garageband.

Was hoping to see the 13" MBP update instead, but, looking at the three laptop options, it's easy to see Apple streamlining/getting rid of it as their next move. I anticipate having to choose between a larger device than I prefer or less power and fewer options than I prefer
