Don't touch wth a barge-pole; it's obviously very very dodgy. If money is a problem, go for a refurb, they are offering god deals, are perfectly legit, come with warranty and have been tested and tried thoroughly.

To check if a mac has been reported stolen or if there are any other curiosities try this site: www.appleserialnumberinfo.com

The site hasn't been around long from what i understand but is growing fast. A mac will only show up as solen if someone reported it on that same site ofcourse but you never know
