If one is realeased, will you buy and what will it replace?
What if we already own a MacBook...
Price and specs might influence my decision
No thanks...I don't feel like paying two grand for the privilege of debugging a laptop.
Ouch, why would you have to debug it?
Corr... i really would like to buy that Pro-Mac X that hasn't been announced yet
Don't get your hopes up. There won't be a new Macbook released in January. It was just refreshed in November.
Going by the track record Apple's had with their revisions over the past couple of years, they're almost certainly going to have missed (many?) things before shipping a completely new MBP model. I refuse to be a guinea pig!
I'll just go along with my long track record of ridiculously robust Apple hardware then.
I'm anxiously waiting an update to the MBP before I buy. The wait for January 15 is killing me.
The new macbook( was refreshed in Oct.) and was talking about the new 12"-13" Macbook (insert new name)
If Apple releases them in January when will they realistically be fully stocking stores with them?
On a good release it'll be in store the same day.
That would be impressive. Is MacWorld intended to release the fact that the new lines are coming out soon, or the actually new lines are released and in stores on that exact date?
If it's the Pro I will
Usually it's in store or online the same day.
They were refreshed in November. November 1st actually. If Apple releases new hardware at Macworld it won't be a replacement for the Macbook. Who really knows though ...
I was thinking the 31st of Oct for some reason
I'm hoping for a small macbook pro but if a slimmer Macbook comes out, yes, credit card is in hand.
Just got mine in Sept. so no need... Not for a couple more years.
just got a gorgeous blackbook, and I love it. I won't be needing the next big thing. Although it sounds pretty cool
Yep. But only if it's an ultra portable. I'd really like something a bit bigger than the iPod touch with real OSx on it.
Dying to replace 12" PowerBook with an Intel machine. 13" MBP would be perfect, especially with real "Pro" specs.
Credit Card in hand
What would be the point in that? The simplified OSX the iPhone and iPt use is perfect for its size... what are you after, a 5 inch MacBook? Ridiculous
If it's a 12-13" MBP, sign me up. This MacBook would go to a family member. If it's just a slimmer MacBook... I'll get a 15" MBP. I'm not getting a Mac Pro until MWSF 09 so I need something with a little punch to get me through the next 12 months!
Since my MBP is only a bit older than a year, I don't have a real reason to buy. Therefore, I'll drool, if necessary.
