highly doubtful that there will be an update but i dont see the harm in waiting a couple of weeks just in case. my honest opinion just wait and if there isnt an update run to the apple store and have at it,

or another option is to buy within 14 days of the event then you can return it but keep in mind that you will incur a restocking fee.

:apple:I was thinking about waiting till WWDC to buy one, but I do not know why now.

I don't care about the free ipod deal, I have an Ipod touch already. If there is a amazing case redesign (hard to believe it will be so amazing and different compared to the current model), the 1st revision will have problems.

I remember last year when people in November were saying "wait for the new laptops." People SWORE they would be released on January 15th, it made sense right... kinda like releasing them at WWDC, only January 15th is when they display big stuff (such as a macbook/macbook pro case redesign). The laptops were updated late Feb.

There is nothing wrong with the current laptops... why wouldnt they update Jan 15, of 09. Apple likes to update their notebooks about month+ after the new CPU comes out, not the month of (June).

I either will buy the current MBP this weekend or next weekend at this point, because hey, I want my laptop
