Hi Dinesh!

I have the same problem, my macbook 16 is brand new and the battery is not responding to charging.

What was the solution to your problem ? How long was in service ?

Thank you!
Hi. Same problem here. I just got the MacBook Pro 16 today. Exactly the same story. Thankfully I have an Apple Service in my town... But seriously. What a crap for so much money...

I wonder what is the solution, or at least what is the problem...

All best,

Kamil

Same issue here with my wife’s 16” MBP. For those that sent theirs back do you know what the turnaround time was like? We have AC+.

Hi. I got a new MacBook ;) Unfortunately they had to "check it" and they waited for some parts - the authorised service had to make an expertise. So... I was over two weeks without computer. Nobody said - "Sorry". This is my 8th Mac and I may say - the quality of Apple is not what it used to be :( I am disappointed.

Signed up here just to confirm I was able to launch my brand new MacBook Pro 17 with DFU revive:

Just in case - I had a charging cable connected to the right side of the notebook (I don't know if it is important or not) while the front left USB was connected to the other host MacBook (as was said in the article).

I tried SMC reset but no luck. I am in a remote place where mac showroom or service centre is not accessible. Any help would be greatly appreciated. I tried charging it for 6 hrs now, charged from other port also. Still no luck.
Create an online warranty repair. Apple will overnight a shipping box.
Argh... zombie santa thread.
