New MacBook Pro mail app problem

Hello all,

Just got my new MacBook Pro not to long ago and when I try to set up my gmail account with the mail app I get this error


400. That’s an error.

The server cannot process the request because it is malformed. It should not be retried. That’s all we know.


Has anyone else seen this error and know what I need to do to get it to work?

Have you tried reaching out to Gmail support? Normally server side errors are handled by the mail provider.
